She stated that they would order links for the watchband at no charge to me, but I have not yet received the links.  She stated that they had to order the parts and would email me when they arrive.

Review: On December [redacted] I bought "August Steiner Bright Men's Quartz Watch" for a total of $90.92 (Order #[redacted])

Unfortunately I had an accident and beyond injuring myself, scratched the watch face shortly thereafter. I contacted Customer Support at August Steiner on January [redacted] via the Contact Form on their Website and [redacted] was kind enough to help. In her last email to me, she outlined a procedure to mail the watch to Brooklyn, repair it, and ship it back. Here are exerpts:

"A new case is $20.00. The best way to go ahead with it, is to send it back to our repair center and we will replace it for you. Please send your watch back to us with the following.

1. Copy of invoice

2. Note describing the problem with the watch

3. Contact information

4. $30.00 Check or money order made out for TWI Watches ($20.00 for crystal + $10.00 for shipping and handling.)

Our shipping address is:

August Steiner Repair Center [redacted] For any further questions or concerns don’t hesitate to contact me."

Great! I shipped the watch immediately (January [redacted], to be exact). It has now been 2 months and 6 days and I have not i) received the fixed watch back, and ii) not heard from the business.

I have tried contacting an August Steiner representative via the website contact form, I have emailed [redacted] directly in response to our previous email chain, and I have called the store on 3 separate dates (since February [redacted]) and left messages all three times with my contact information.

As you can see, I have paid for the watch, I mailed it to the address provided, included a check, and have now been left in the dark. This is not how you do business.Desired Settlement: I want the watch. I paid for it and want to enjoy it.

Review: I am unable to contact this business. No one ever answers the phone. No matter which time of the day or night I call them, the voice message always states that the 'company is now closed, call during normal hours'. I've submitted questions on their web site (leaving my email address each time) but no one ever contacts me. The wrist band on the watch I purchased is too small. I need to have a link added to the watch band. I took it to a local jeweler, and he returned the watch to me because he was unable to contact the company either.

Review: I purchased a watch from Amazon on 6/**/2015 for my wife. When day light savings ended we tried to reset the time and the stem pulled out. We returned the watch for repair on 11/*/2015 with a $10 check as per instructions. They received the watch on 11/* @ 10:52 AM and it was signed for by [redacted] In early December I tried phoning to get an update, regardless of the time of day the phone was answered my machine saying they were closed. After another week I started filling out their online contact form. Finally on 12/** they cashed our check, but still no watch. I have left over a dozen phone messages and another dozen contact forms, still no watch.Desired Settlement: A Repaired or replacement watch as stated in their printed warranty.

Review: I mailed my watch to their repair center several months ago (5+ months) and have tried contacting them directly. The warranty form and shipping form said it would take approximately 4-5 weeks to return. They will not answer their customer service line nor return my calls from my left voice messages. I mailed them the watch, the receipt, the warranty forms, and a check of $10 to have it delivered back to me. At the time of my purchase and when the watch was sent out for repairs my name was [redacted] or may be under [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want the watch or my money back.

Review: I purchased a August Steiner watch in April of 2015 from the Wendy Williams show. The latch is broken I have tried calling the customer service number and email. For the past (2) weeks and no returned call or email.Desired Settlement: I would like to repair my watch or return. Since it's so difficult to get in touch with the company I'm afraid to exchange.

Review: When a watch still under warranty broke, they demanded that I pay for my own shipping to send it to them and that I pay $10 to them. The repair could be, and was done at a local jeweler for less than $10. I should not have to pay them for a repair under warranty.Desired Settlement: That they either stop demanding money for services under warranty or be denied the right to advertise the warranty and send out a letter to every holder of such a warranty that it was a scam and that they have no intention of fulfilling it properly.
