Review: I received services from Augusta Health Care and was not aware that they didn't update my address when I checked in. I have lots of medical bills and so I thought I was billed for services rendered. Then one day I noticed I had an account in collections from AHC. I called them and told them I didn't receive the bills so how could I pay them. AHC said there was nothing they could do now. AHC messed up because they didn't verify my address when I checked in and now I have negative marks on my credit report because they didn't do their job correctly.Desired Settlement: Retract all bills sent to the collection agency and sent to me with ample time to pay them. And all negative marks removed from my credit report.

This is in response to a letter from the Revdex.com in regards to a patient's accounts at Augusta Health. While the bills in question are ultimately the patient's responsibility, Augusta Health will remove the accounts in question from the collection agency and from the patient's credit report. The patient will receive statements and will be given ample time to pay the accounts.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. There is still a $76.00 charge showing up on my credit report. If the business stands by their response and removes all charges from his credit report and through any/all collection agencies, this complaint can be closed as resolved.
