This business that I came across is very unprofessional in how they conduct business. I have never in my whole entire life felt harassed until now!
I filled out a starter profile with the Augusta singles on Jan 5th. I never finished the form because I was at work. Around 6pm that evening, I received a phone call from a guy, who said that his name was [redacted] and that he was the president of Augusta Singles. He said that he felt led to call me because I live in the Augusta area and wanted to tell me all about his program. It seemed a little to good to be true because he spoke, non-stop for about 45 minutes! At the end of his one way conversation, he kept pushing me to make an appointment to come in to speak with one of his counselors, I was pretty leary and hesitant, however I said that I would come see what their program was all about, just because he wouldn't shut up. Afterwards, he gave me his cell number and told me that if I had any issues or questions to please feel free to contact him. So the next day came and I called him because I was still pretty unsure that I wanted to go through this process and told him that I needed to cancel this appointment. I made up an excuse and told him that I had to work. He got kinda upset and told me that he paid for one counselor to see me and that he would lose money if I didn't show up. I was trying to be nice about the whole situation to tell him that I was still uneasy about this program and but he was very persistent and wouldn't take no for an answer! So he rescheduled me for that evening at 7:30 pm. I said okay to him but my gut told me that something seemed a little fishy because this guy was relentless about me keeping an appointment. I never showed up because again, I had mixed feelings about this place. Then I received 3 phone calls within 10 minutes after 7:30 and also 8 text messages from this guy! He told me that I was a liar and that I deserved to marry another loser! I was shocked and appalled about what he texted me! I sent him a reply and told him that I was not going to be harassed or pressured into anything that I was no comfortable with! He also said that he knew where I worked and that if he had to show up at my job and embarrass me, he would! Then this morning he sent me 2 more text messages and called me a liar again and said that I had no integrity, that I cost him money and that my attitude stinks! I sent him a pretty nasty reply and told him to lose my number and that if he ever sent me another text or called me ever again, I would file a harassment complaint against him and would be contacting the Revdex.com. About 30 minutes ago I called the Augusta Revdex.com and spoke to someone at the local office about this business. The gentleman that I spoke to said that I could file a complaint at this website and that this business was not apart of the Revdex.com. That really doesn't surprise me because this was by far the most unprofessional and childish behavior that I have ever come across in my entire life! Single people out there need to know that this business is shady and unprofessional! I am very glad that I went with my gut instinct on this! I also have the text messages saved, just in case you guys may want to see how truly unprofessional and childish he really was! I just want every single person out there to know that this business is a joke and a scam and they don't care about you as a person. All they care about is the money that you are willing to give to them for services that aren't very professional. My interaction with the company owner (on my complaint above), clearly proves my point. This owner, named [redacted] (cell # XXX-XXX-XXXX) is a liar, cheat, and the most unprofessional person that I have ever made contact with in my entire life!! How can he claim to be a legitimate business when he sends hateful texts and harasses people if they decide to change their mind about speaking to this company. I know now that I made the right decision about not meeting up with this guy and his company before he could try to persuade money out of me! Every one just needs to be aware of this shady character!!!
