Review: Due to a financial hardship I could not keep the agreed payment option. I spoke with Mr. Aungst in great detail regarding such and had a verbal agreement to make good faith payments until such time balance was paid. I keep getting conflicting emails/voice messages as well as unannounced visits as if there were no communication between Mr. Aungst and myself. I have waited for Mr. Aungst on many occasions only to have him not show up. I have requested a written invoice with an itemized list of work performed and work not completed. To date I have not received said document. I am not comfortable with Mr. Aungst in my home and would like to have another company finish the work. I let Mr. Aungst know that certain things were left unfinished and was advised that I could get covers for the electrical boxes from any hardware store. I am not an electrician and would not feel comfortable moving/covering wiring. Mr. Aungst also advised me that a particular wire should never be left lying on a hot pipe, but that same wire was secured to that same pipe. Also instead of removing excess wiring he put it in the corner of my basement and could not explain why the wiring was not removed as stated in the agreement. I have searched the Revdex.coms list of contractors and could not locate AUNGST ELECTRICAL SERVICES. Even though it is advertised on the website of AUNGST ELECTRICAL SERVICES as having an A+ Rating with the Revdex.com. AUNGST ELECTRICAL SERVICES has been paid $1,000.00 to date leaving a balance of $400.00. I will withhold said balance until the matter of unfinished work is resolved.Desired Settlement: I am seeking to have another electrian complete the work. The balance owed to Aungst Electrical Services is $400.00, which should be used to cover completion of work by another company. I am uncomfortable having Mr. Aungst do any further work in my home.
