Aunt Bessie's Family Car Mart

Review: On or about 11/28/2012 I drove to [redacted] to Aunt Bessies Car Mart to look at a 2006 Mustang they had advertised on the internet. The car was adverised online for $8000. The actual cost when we arrived was $10,000. At the dealership, you can not look at the car until financing is in place. After putting a 3,000.00 down payment on the car, I financed the Mustang. Upon driving home, we noticed it needed brakes. I had to drive half way to [redacted] three time to sign paper work the dealership messed up on. Not to mention they gave the finance company account numbers to a closed account which in turn made our first two pyts. late, it was only when I contacted the finance co. did we realize this happened. Took it to a garage and the brakes fell off the car, and the car needed 510.00 worth of repairs at that point, which included repairs for new rotors, ball joint, idler arm,and brake calipers. Two weeks later the car was undrivable, due to a transmission issue, so again the car ended up in another garage, costing 780.00 in repairs. Next the car needed a new thermostat and housing unit, and yet another garage. Now at this present time the car is at a transmission specialist in the process of having a cellinoid replaced in the transmission, which will total 745.00. This is garage number four now. The car dealership has been informed of the repairs that have needed to be made, and they have been uncooperative in helping us with any of the repairs, or the cost of the repairs. They claim I needed to bring the car back to them for the repairs. If I can't drive the car then I can't very well get it to [redacted]. At this point, they do not return any of our phone calls. They have also informed me that they have attorneys for consumers such as myself who will defend them in such matters as this.Desired Settlement: We would request that the car dealership reimburse us for 100% of the cost of repairs that have been made, that we have paid for out of pocket. The total amount of repairs that I have receipts for come out to a total of $2,315.00.
