Dear [redacted] ,R&G Brenner utilizes a Client Engagement Agreement (CEA) to prevent the very issues that [redacted] claims to be at the heart of this “disagreement” The CEA that [redacted] signed clearly lists the responsibilities of both parties therefore I fail to see how or why any "additional explanation” was warranted— [redacted] contracted R&G Brenner to prepare his tax return for the agreed upon amount as per the first sentence of the CEA.It appears [redacted] did not read the CEA that he signed However, that is not in anyway the fault of R&G Brenner There are no “presumptions” of what R&G Brenner’s & [redacted] ***’s responsibilities were in regards to the preparation of his tax return according to the CEA.R&G Brenner is only seeking what was agreed toI am happy that [redacted] now agrees to pay in full for the services already rendered to him However, it is clear from [redacted] ***’s response, that his sole intent is to attempt to damage R&G Brenner’s online reputation & business due to failures on his part, not R&G Brenner’s R&G Brenner will explore other means to compel [redacted] to remove his untruthful reviews A receipt for the amount due to R&G Brenner was sent to [redacted] on As of today, [redacted] has not contacted us to remit payment.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Dear *** *** I am responding to complaint numbe* *** regarding *** *** *** came to one of our offices with a coupon that he found on our web site. I have included the link so you can see the coupon and the disclosure for this coupon.
*** Please note that this discount only applies to new clients who have previously been to of of our top competitors (their names are listed in the disclosure) and the client must bring with them their last year's receipt *** *** did not qualify for this promotion as he did not use their services last year. We provided *** *** a different coupon for new clients which is a flat fee of $ Regardless of the coupon we are offering this season, all coupons state that the minimum fee is $99. Therefore, you can say that we honored the 50% switch and save, and the minimum fee is $99. As a result, *** *** saved $over his last year’s fee of $ I spoke to *** *** personally about the terms and conditions of our coupons. While I was speaking, he cut me off, stated he really does not care what I am saying and that if I do not give him $he will go onto every social media site and bad mouth us. When I explained that we are having a professional conversation and there is no need for threats, he paused for a moment, admitted that he is threatening us and stated, “Well you have my contact information, I am going to start posting and when I receive my $I will take the posts down”. *** *** then proceeded to post negative reviews online In conclusion, *** *** is not entitled to anything. Instead of threatening and bad mouthing R&G Brenner, *** *** should be thanking us for saving him $over his last year’s fee. I think our main disagreement is on whether *** *** *** clearly explained to me the billing liability I would have after signing the agreement when I sat in their office.I felt sorry that ** *** so strongly presumed it must be their customer's fault and it must be their customer distorting the facts when dealing with such a conflict of statement of facts. Actually when ** *** wrote me an email earlier, he said 'I was not present during the interview process for *** *** and cannot comment on whether it was fully explained to you.' Surprisingly, after a few months ** *** became so certain that 'At no time did Wang indicate he only wanted an “estimate” of our services' or 'it is impossible for *** *** to claim that he was only looking for a “quote”'It looks like the adjustment of the bill is done simply because they want to show some mercy or save some trouble, which is totally unacceptable to meThus I want to reject their proposal of the adjustmentInstead I will pay the bill in the full amount, but I will not delete my reviews and I will continue to give reviews and complain on all possible online/offline sourcesIn order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above

Re: *** ***Dear *** ***,I am in receipt of the complaint by Jaiqing Wang dated
October *, 2015. *** *** had his tax
return prepared in our *** office on March *, 2015. *** *** spent a considerable amount of time with
our CPA, *** *** ***. At no time
did Wang
indicate he only wanted an “estimate” of our services. In fact *** *** prepared an entire tax
return for *** *** which included (but not limited to) multiple W2s, multiple
1098s, Schedules A and E, Education Credits, and Child Tax. All of their income and personal information
was entered and scanned into the tax return. *** *** then produced a tax summary to *** *** to review (which is
only possible to produce when a tax return is near completion).*** *** waited to hear back from *** *** to see if he
wanted any changes, additions or if he had any questions as well as to receive
final payment in order to file his final tax return. We did not hear from *** *** until we sent
him a bill for services rendered.I have had several communications via email with *** ***. On September ***, I sent *** ***
a copy of the Client Engagement Agreement he entered into (which is also
attached) showing that he engaged R&G Brenner to prepare his tax return. His response to me the same day was that he
wanted copies of this tax return. I
informed him that I will send him his tax return when he pays for *** ***’s services.Based upon the amount of time spent with *** ***, the
amount of work *** *** performed to prepare the return, and that *** ***
signed our Client Engagement Agreement, it is impossible for *** *** to claim
that he was only looking for a “quote”. Instead, *** *** took the tax summary provided (which is only produced
after a completed tax return and would not have been supplied had he not
committed to our services) and used the tax expertise provided by an R&G
Benner CPA to prepare his own return for less money. In
other words, *** *** broke the contract and essentially engaged in theft of our
professional services, yet somehow feels R&G Brenner is at fault for
insisting he pay for services he agreed toI see that *** *** would like a billing adjustment to
resolve this issue. *** *** has not
only gone so far to complain to the Revdex.com, but has also left negative reviews on
other review sites like Yelp & Trustpilot R&G Brenner has every intent of engaging
a collection agency to collect the fees for services rendered to *** *** as
well as investigating theft of services & defamation claims with our
lawyers. However, R&G would be willing
to forgo these non-productive exercises by slightly adjusting the amount due
provided that *** *** remove all negative reviews (and subsequently does not
repost these negative reviews) from all sites that he posted them on.Sincerely, *** ***

Dear *** ***, I am responding to the complaint submitted by Danielle Hovington-Neville, ID # *** Let me first apologize that I was not aware of the first message sent to me on 5/regarding this issue I reviewed what *** *** wrote in her complaint and I compared
this to the notes we have in our Customer Service system. It appears that R&G Brenner did not service this client properly. The steps I took to assist *** *** also did not work, as the preparers I assigned to assist her failed at that Based on this I spoke to the Owners and we are going to refund *** *** her $100. I called *** *** and left her a message telling her we would refund her money. However, I would like to speak to *** *** to personally apologize for this situation as well as discuss the status of her tax return.
