Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, at present the engine & transmission will now only be cleared by the *** *** *** (***) once a $payment has been made, the owner of *** *** is to contact URE & *** in order to resolve this matter as stated in previous correspondence that shipping fees had already been paid by URE, once it has been resolved would have no issue with this fee be deducted from my outstanding incurred costs.I accept that the Shifter was placed in the trunk along with other parts that were to be shipped, the vehicle did sit idle in a warehouse in Stanton, CA for approximately months once it left URE premises and then months in a warehouse here in Brisbane, ***, there was also one other item missing that was confirmed in trunk by the importer but not found once cleared by the *** in mid-January, would have to presume shifter was also stolen somewhere along the line, this item replacement cost & shipping could also be deducted from my outstanding incurred costs.It was not my intention to purposely negate notifying URE of issues when they became apparent as I was advised to wait until process of getting vehicle to an acceptable road going condition which turned into a prolonged period with issues with body, flexplate and cooling issues and having to source parts from overseas.Attached with this response is the amended incurred cost with shifter replacement cost and engine sale prices removed, from this total the engine & transmission shipping cost could also be deducted.I will wait until for the matter of the engine & transmission to be cleared and in my possession then await the business to perform it's required actions and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Regards, *** ***
High Performance engines because of the nature of their use do not typically carry any warrantee however URE offers its customer a warrantee they can purchase to cover the parts on theircustom engine. The URE warrantee purchase by the customer covers only parts and makes no allowances
for any labor claimThe customer was provided parts for his engine as stipulated bythe warranteeHis demand for further compensation of labor costs is outline specifically as not coveredIn a bid for goodwill and to maintain the relationship with this customer URE has now provided the customer with the requested reimbursement of labor costs on this incidentThis was not an obligation of URE and in no way admits any liability on the part of UREWe do hope this brings this incident to a close and maintains our favorable rating with the Revdex.com

I payed more than $12,for an engine that ran only about miles, never raced It suffered massive damage from what my mechanic thinks was the valves touching the pistons U.R.E is very hard to deal with because they've seldom answered my phone calls and e-mail response is spotty The warranty strongly protects then, offering the consumer no easy recourse So far the've provided no help to defray costs of repairs even though still within the warranty period I'm sorry I ever sent them any money
