To whom it may concern,

After reviewing Ms. complaint, we want to apologize for any confusion. We have transitioned to a monthly subscription-based schedule, per many requests from our regular customers. This allows our customers the convenience of automatically receiving their skin care regimen. We send our customers the full-sized product and they are given a 14-day trial period to decide if they like our product for only the cost of shipping and handling. After the trial, they are then charged for our products at the full retail price and enrolled in our subscription-based schedule. Our terms and conditions have remained on our website and we apologize if Ms. did not see them upon placing her order.

Upon looking over Ms. account with us we can confirm that she started her trial with us on February 21, 2019 for shipping cost of $6.62. After her trial ended, she was then billed for the full-sized product that was shipped to her and enrolled into our monthly subscription. Our records indicate that Ms. never reached out to us to request a cancellation of her subscription or to request a refund from us; therefore, we believed Ms. to be enjoying our product. However, now that we are aware of her complaint, we have cancelled her subscription and refunded her account in full. This makes her total reimbursement $111.72. This should take roughly 5-7 business days to be credited back into her account.

We are committed to customer happiness and regret that you did not find that with our company. We sincerely hope that this settles any grief you had towards our company and want to again apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Customer Support

I responded on line to the Aura Revive ad for face cream. The eye serum was added apparently for free with my order. I would pay for shipping only. Later, I was billed an astounding $141.84 and $141.96 for the face cream and eye serum even though under the terms and conditions, the price q
was only to be C$39.97 (shipping and handling).I called the company, had my subscription cancelled and received a refund for the most recent billing, again for $141.88 and $141.96, but the company was reluctant to acknowledge that it had falsely advertised the price in its terms and conditions document which is the legal document pertaining to the agreement. I am requesting a refund of the difference between the advertised price and the debit I was billed on my credit card.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting a refund of the difference between advertised price in the terms and conditions and what I was billed, $101.84 and $101.99 respectively.

Filled out an online form for free facial product only needing to pay shipping. February 16, 2019 2 charges on my *** account, one for *** XXXXXXXXXX QC $131.91 and the 2nd for *** XXXXXXXXXX QC $131.80. Did not complain at the time because I knew I had been sucked in. Yesterday received another shipment NOT ORDERED and checked my *** Charged $131.91 March 16, 2019. Neither shipment had an invoice nor company name, just products in a *** plastic shipping bag. On the shipping label FROM:/DE: Customer Service XXX-XXX-XXXX. Called this morning and after over 10 minutes of discussion *** agreed to cancel the order and will credit my *** for the current charge. Nothing for the 2 charges in February. I feel this company needs to be stopped as, even though apparently in the terms it states unless one contacts them within 90 days, with no invoice or any other information in the shipment it is impossible to contact them. As this is an advertised "age defying" product it is very easy for seniors to get trapped. Also with failing eyesight it is impossible to read the labels on the jars. I do feel this is a targeted product to catch seniors.

Desired Outcome

If possible I would like the company to refund the charges in February in the amount of $131.91 and $131.80 but just knowing the company is stopped would satisfy me. Or at least they need to be more above board by supplying a proper invoice and clearer terms.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I will accept the full refund.

The business offers a "free" or low cost sample of a personal care product, but fails to be transparent about the recurring commitment into which the customer may be entering, including information on how future billing will occur.

For a product that they claimed you only need to pay shipping ($6.62, respective $6.56), they then charged my credit card with $141,96, respective $141.84. They offer no refund, as according to their "policy" the money back guarantee is only for 14 days...if you fail to cancel your "account" within 14 days, they can charge these amounts. None of this information was provided at the time of the "purchase" of the FREE sample.

Desired Outcome

I expect full refund of the $141.96, respective $141.84 amounts charged to my credit card; i can ship the products back to them no problem.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I appreciate your response and the refund. I hope though you will make an effort to clearly show your terms and conditions when someone is "trying" your cream advertised as free sample. Also your call centre personnel should be better trained to ensure that they do make customer satisfaction a priority not the reverse.

I ordered a free trial of the Aura Revive (***) product both the moisturizer and eye serum. A couple of weeks after receiving the product I began getting calls asking if I would like to continue the trial. I opted out, not seeing the results they had claimed. The call center behaved oddly and I became concerned about the security of my credit card. I checked my credit card statement to find 2 charges: one from *** and the other for ***. Each for over $130 dollars. I called the number on the bottom of my receipt only to find the number not in service XXX-XXX-XXXX. I called ***, who gave me 2 other numbers for the companies with recommendation to ensure I had email confirmations of the cancellation. When I called the call center they didn't have any records of calls to me, and since I had called outside of the 14 day trial, I was charged full price. She reiterated that it was not a free trial, though that was what was listed on the Ad. I called back a second time after looking at my purchase receipts and doing some more research. I offered to return the product I wasn't satisfied with or to pay the list price for each product of $66 even though I was concerned that my cc information was shared with a 3rd party. Their service manager stated it was non refundable, though there is a 30 day money back guarantee listed on line. I have emailed ***, since that is where I discovered the product. ***. I don't wish others to be falsely led by a money back guarantee on sites they trust (*** or ***) backed by groups they trust (***) to then have the company not only not honour the guarantee but charge double the list price and share their cc information with a 3rd party.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of money spent. Thank you.

After her trial ended on March 5, 2019, she was then billed $131.91 and $131.80 for the full-sized products that were shipped to her and enrolled into our monthly subscription. Our records indicate that Ms. did not reach out to us to cancel her subscription during her trial period so on our end, we believed she was enjoying our products. However, because customer satisfaction is our priority, we have refunded Ms. for the March 5th charges, making a total reimbursement of $263.71. This should take roughly 5-7 business days to be credited back into her account. (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

At no time was I informed of ordering and billing policy when I ordered products from Aura Revive, on Jan 28/19. I was lead to believe that the two products that I ordered were free, and that all that I would be billed for would be shipping and handling. On March 22/19 I discovered debit charges totalling $527.42 after receiving two more bottles of product that I did not order and of which I was not informed of policy around ordering. Upon phoning the company on March 22/19 I learned that if I did not want to be billed a total of $263.71, on Feb 11/19, for products ordered on Jan 28/19, that I was led to believe were free of charge, then I needed to return that product the day that I received it, in order that it arrive back to the company within 14 days. And that the product needed to be unused in order that no charges be incurred. This is not a free trial. This is *** business. At the very least the company receives customers' shipping and handling fee while the customer pays to receive and send back product that they don't have an opportunity to try. More often than not the company runs off with $263.71 of the customers' money that the customer would never have agreed to be liable for in the first place. ***. ***
Product_Or_Service: Alluring Essence and Eye Enchantment
Order_Number: 2E9E3AB8D0

Desired Outcome

I would like the full amount of $527.42 to be refunded to my bank account via the debit card through which this company stole my money.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
While Aura Revive wisely chose to refund all of my money, all $527.20 of it, as I requested, this does not excuse their shoddy business practices nor, in my opinion, will it create any change in these practices. I was never informed, either verbally, or in writing, of the policies, and procedures, regarding a trial period, which is no trial, at all, since you cannot try the product and return it, untouched, for a refund and cancellation of automatic monthly orders that you are also not informed of.

Subsequent, automatic, monthly orders, and billing to my debit card, with funds automatically being withdrawn, was never mentioned. Had I been informed of these policies, and procedures, I would not have proceeded with my initial order. The number of complaints that can be found on the internet, with regard to this company and their practices, clearly indicates that I am not the only one who has experienced being *** by Aura Revive. Had I known how much the products were being sold for, I would never have ordered them, knowing that I would have to return them, unopened in order to not be charged. Over $130.00 per bottle of product! What a joke! I hope everyone involved with profiting through this company gives their head a good shake and grows some integrity.
