Aurora Transmission Inc. Reviews (1)

To whom it may concern -Reclaim # [redacted]As the owner of Aurora Transmission, I would like to relay my honest appreciation for the standards of the Revdex.com as well as the focus of advancing the trust incorporated organizations. I can also relate to and express my disbelief and...

all around ill feeling when it comes to some of the complaints and issues that are thrown at us by the general public. What I am sending is a copy of my correspondence between with the credit card dispute division and the following arbitration rebuttal. The end result with the dispute is that the money owed was in fact deposited back into my account. It appears that the Revdex.com is the next step in her slanderous attempt to discredit me and my company. An attempt to rectify any issues with Ms. [redacted] vehicle was offered. We were never given the chance to inspect or correct any of Ms. [redacted] claims. If there is anything else I can add or information that I can provide, feel free to contact me at [redacted].Reclaim # [redacted]My original reply is included at the conclusion of this pre-arbitration response. In which I have stated that the services requested by Ms. [redacted] were performed and as of the last time we spoke the vehicle was moving and shifting under its own power Although Ms. [redacted] did phone me the day following the repair, she never brought the vehicle back to me to inspect or repair. A vehicle is a machine with thousands of moving parts working simultaneously. Some problems evolve when another problem is fixed. We were never optioned to inspect her vehicle for residual issues that may or may have not been a result of the service we performed. A service in which was paid and signed for by Ms. [redacted]. As far as a 2nd party’s involvement on this issue, I really don’t understand the relevance. The party giving an opinion in this place is approximately 900 miles away. To be more specific, the exact distance Ms. [redacted] drove her vehicle, not once calling me to report any issues with my service. I have submitted my signed invoice and credit card slip, offered to have Ms. [redacted] bring her vehicle back in to be checked free of charge the day after the install where all issues could have been addressed, and now written two letters all in hope I will be able to keep the money owed to my business for a job that has been performed as promised. On February 6, 2017, I [redacted], Owner of Aurora Transmission was contracted to install a used transmission into a 2013 Nissan Altima by Sheila [redacted]. The job was completed without issues on February 9, 2017. The vehicle was test driven by myself and at no time were there any dash lights to indicate any problems or check codes to follow up on. At which time a total of $2124.68 was applied to Ms. [redacted] Credit Card number ending in 2938. Ms. [redacted] signed the Credit Card receipt(copy provided with my mailed response) and retained possession of her vehicle. The following day I received a phone call from Ms. [redacted] advising me that her keyless entry key FOB would not unlock her doors. Not an uncommon electrical issue that occurs during a major repair due to the disconnection of the vehicles battery. I advised her to either come back to the shop or stop at a Nissan dealership in order to flash the computer in order to relearn the key FOB. She stated that she was unable to stop at the shop because of a planned trip down to Texas the following day. I offered my opinion of not driving that distance with a possible electrical issue but never heard from Ms. [redacted] again until today May 3, 2017.Even though my warranty clearly states that electrical issues are not covered, I still offered to look at the vehicle. I was contacted by a technician from an unknown Texas Nissan dealership requesting information on Ms. [redacted]’s vehicle. After speaking with this individual and coming to a mutual agreement that it was an electrical issue I was never contacted by Ms. [redacted]. I was paid to procure a used transmission and install it into a 2013 Nissan Altima by Ms. [redacted]. We did so by the specifications and labor hours provided by Nissan Motor Co. At the time the vehicle was picked up and everything regarding the transmission installation was in working order and there were no problems detected. The vehicle was never brought back to Aurora Transmission in order for us to diagnose or repair any issues after the transmission installation. Its only now that after Ms. [redacted] drove the vehicle to Texas, and is in fact still driving the vehicle, with the used transmission we installed and having no issues, that she has filed a dispute in turn taking the money for the job that was completed in entirety from my account.4 year old vehicles sometimes have problems, especially those vehicles driven across country. Please take any vehicle issues that you may have incurred into consideration. Thank you in advance[redacted]Owner/OperatorAurora Transmission Est 1971[redacted]Montgomery, IL. 60538[redacted]
