At first it seemed as if this company took care of their property and the property manager seemed to be on top of any complaintsIt turns out they don't want to take care of the real important issues I was told that an important repair was going to be done before I moved inConsidering this was even a housing violation, I agreed to waitLater I was told that I could move in, and they would just have someone come out around my scheduleWeeks passed and I never heard anything about itAfter spring started to break, (I moved in November) I retouched on the issueWas told many times by the property manager that they needed to get a hold of someone to get it fixedNo one came out, and they never communicated wellConsidering that this issue was supposed to be fixed before I moved in, I was fed up and finally filed escrowThey tried to file eviction (which is illegal) and eventually lost the caseI was released of my lease (thank goodness since I didn't want to have a property manager that didn't want to fix housing and fire code violations) and was told that as long as there wasn't any extreme damages, I would get the deposit backOf course they waited until the 30th day to mail out the checkNot only did they lie about getting the deposit back they also broke the law again by charging us the court feesI have already contacted the lawyer to inform him of this violationDO NOT rent from these peopleThey are your basic slum lord

I MOVED INTO THIS PROPERTY ON DEC.1, 2015, DECEMBER I CALLED VERA ABOUT "FLEAS" IN THE PROPERTY [I HAVE NO PETS] FOR HER TO TELL ME PEST ARE MY RESPONSIBILITY...THIS IS OCT AND I AM STILL BEING BITTEN BY FLEAS AND SO IS MY YEAR OLD SON NOT ONLY ARE WE GETTING ATE UP BY FLEAS THE HOUSE IS "INFESTED" WITH RATS "AND" MICE...WE TOOK OUR RENT TO ESCROW LAST YEAR AND CALLED CITY CODE THE INSPECTOR LIED FOR THEM THAT THEY "COMPLIED" SO I WAS FORCED TO CALL THEM AGAIN AND TOLD I HAD TO START THE PROCESS OVER ITS PENDING NOW NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO THE PROPERTY THE TWO YEARS IVE BEEN HEREDO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE THE WORST KINDS OF SLUMLORDSTHEY SEND PEOPLE [MAINTANENCE] HERE TO DO SERVICES AND NOTHING IS EVER COMPLETED NOR DOES ANYONE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE MAINTAINANCE IS DOING THEIR JOBRATS ARE IN THE STOVE ON THE STOVE ALL ON MY DINING ROOM TABLE ON TOP OF MY MICROWAVE IVE THROWN AWAY SO MUCH FOOD BECAUSE THEY GOT TO IT AND THESE PEOPLE COULD CARELESSI HAD A WATER LEAK FROM THE TOILET IN THE KITCHEN THE ENTIRE TWO YEARS OF MY LEASE I HAD TO THREATEN TO CALL LOCAL NEWS STATIONS TO GET THAT FIXEDLIKE THE OTHER REVIEW STATED WHEN I TOOK MY RENT TO ESCROW THEY FILED EVICTION ON ME AND LOST MY RENT IS PAID IN FULL EVERY MONTH BUT BECAUSE OUR LEASE STATES ITS DUE ON THE 1ST AND LATE AFTER THE 5TH AND ALL MY RENT RECEIPTS SHOWED I PAID BEFORE THE 5TH BUT NOT ALWAYS ON THE 1ST,THEY WERE AWARDED MY MONEYTHEY SAID THEY WOULD LET US OUT THE LEASE BUT WE HAVE YET TO SEE THAT IN WRITING AS I REQUESTED SO I HAVE JUST BEEN STUCK HERE WAITING ON THIS LEASE TO END ...WORST YEARS OF MY LIFE DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!

I moved out of a property they rented to me on 3/31/and turned water services off on 4/6/I received my deposit back from this company and noted they deducted my water bill from itWhen I went online to check to see if it was paid it had not beenI called Austen Estates back and they assured me that the water bill would be paid and that I should not make a paymentI received a bill from the water company about it being delinquent so I called Austen Estates backVera assured me it was paid 6/3/and it would take a couple days to postI called vera back 6/24/and told her the water has not been paid yetShe called back and left a message that she accidentally paid the wrong water bill and has to fill out some paperwork to have it transferred into my accountThe water bill still has not been paidI called her today and she said that I will have to take it up with the water companyShe has already paid itThe water company said this is a matter between Vera, Aus

I have already contacted the lawyer to inform him of this violation. DO NOT rent from these people. They are your basic slum lord.
