I have to say that I was very hopeful when I went to their office. I was very happy with how nice there staff was as well as Dr [redacted]. Where the HUGE problem came in is when they looked at my skin and told me that they needed to remove 7 skin abnormalities. I was ok with the idea of this as the whole reason I was there was to get them to look at 1 specific one. Then they shaved them all off. This has caused me 2 problems. First I had no idea that they were going to actually scrap into my skin to remove them leaving me bloody. I now have 7 scars on my body from where they shaved these off. They didn't tell me that it would leave scars everywhere ahead of time and now I am uncomfortable taking off my shirt because it looks like I was scrapped or stabbed all over the place. The second is that each of these shavings cost $100 each which is not covered by Insurance at all because it is considered surgery which they did not tell me ahead of time. They did give me a little bit of a discount on the $100 because it wasn't covered by insurance, but the bill I received was still $450. If I had known this ahead of time then I wouldn't have gotten any or all of these done at their suggestion because I just went in for 1 of them to look at but they just did the work and then sent me a bill afterwards.I can not say how upset I am about this since now I have scars and a huge bill for something that was not even something I needed at all. I feel that their business practices are bad by not informing people ahead of time that it WILL scar them and that these fees are not covered by insurance just so they can make more money.
