Price charged at time of service was not what was stated to me and indicated on their web site I was charged $for lock changed and rekeyed I found this business online on 4/27/and completed my information I was contacted by phone the same day and we went over the prices for what I was requestingWe setup an appointment for today 4/28/at noon and Mr [redacted] (Technician) called and then arrived at my house to begin workingI was told the Serive Call would be $and to change a lock would be about $and rekey $12.95; this is also on their website (www.austinlocksmith24.com)I was also told because I made the request online I would get a 15% discount I paid way too much for one (1) lock change and rekey and I was mislead to believe I would pay what I stated above I also did not receive the 15% discount

I was charged 300% more than I was quoted
On 4/29/I called (XXX) XXX-XXXX and asked what the price was to unlock my vehicleI was told $plus laborI asked what the labor cost was and was told it starts at $I then asked what the approxtotal charge would be for a Toyota Highlander and the young lady told me approx$35-$but the technician would let me know when he got thereAfter waiting an hour out in the sun with my daughter the tech got there, looked at the car and told my $I told him then that I was unhappy because she lied to me, He told me the $WAS A STANDARD FEE plus $plus taxI was HOT and TIRED so I agreedI took more time to fill out the paperwork than to unlock my vehicleI would've NEVER even let the young lady dispatch him to me if I would've know the true costMy complaint is $IS A STARDARD FEETHE GIRL LIED TO ME ON THE PHONEI call this bait and switchI want a refund of $

I exited out of the door on my patio to clean the window from the pest service and went to go back in the door knob was lockedI called this company to helpThe dispatcher would not give me a price range of the serviceI begged for her to let me know just a rangeShe stated if it was a basic door knob (which the back patio is) it would could be about $so I accepted serviceThe tech decided on the back patio door, went on about how 'hard' it is to unlock the basic door knob and that it could take him over an hour to get the door openHe stated that the average price in Austin is $dollars but his company is the most competitive and he planned on keeping it that wayHe first told me $when he was giving me his 'sales' pitch of the $then said that we would do it for $with tax $378.88!!!! It took him less than mins to open the door!! I googled the average price in Austin for a locksmith $to $and it had marked $as high cost
He repeated that this will be covered by my home owners insuranceI googled this and stated that most of the time it IS NOT coveredI called my home owners insurance this morning and of course confirmed it is NOT covered!
I HATE liars and bottom feeders that take advantage of others during a time of misfortune

This business was not a legitimate business; I think it was a scam usedI called them because I was locked out of my house and they charged me a rediculous amount to unlock my doorI was charged $for minutes of service, and it took them an hour to get to my houseI was massively overcharged and they refused to give me a reason that it was so high

This company deserves a zero star Austin locksmith 24, phone number 512-434-Saturday October 8, I came out of the front door, and accidentally the door went lockedMy staff was waiting for me, and had to use his phone to look for someone to come outThis company advertises $10, and price for lockout of residential service start at $When I called them, they would not give me a price over the phoneI told them it was a standard lockWhen the guy came out, immediately he wanted to charge $plus the $trip feeHe spent a lot of time tell me how difficult this lock wasI told them this was ridiculous price, especially when they quote started at $How much variation can a lock be to go up from $to $279.00? He then put the scare to me that not too many people work on a SaturdayHe then proceeded to show me a bill that it was common for $charge for this serviceI proceeded to call other companies, and then he said $I was desperate because my staff had to leaveEverything was locked in the houseIt took him under min to unlock the doorI asked him what he usedHe proceeded to tell me the airbag that he used cost over $When I google airbag for lock outIt costs less than I called the company, the girl on the phone said the manager won't be in until MondayI called twice to talk to this Dave, managerHe finally returned the call, and immediately, he yelled on the phone, and said "you should not have agreed to the price, and don't bother finding me, I am located in India" I believe in people needing to make a fair living for their services, but to charge people in need for $for a min job, is way ridiculous, I called it "highway robbery"I gave the company a chance to rectify this, but this Dave chose to have more bad reviews than doing the right thing
