Hurricane Harvey was the cause of the whole issue We immediately moved the guest to a different room after the leaking incident happened Guest was accommodated for the second night When guest cheto our motel had agreed that motel is not responsible for personal belongings in the room We will glad to provide a copy of registration card to you if you want to see it We suggest that guest should seek compensation through Hurricane damage agency or government agency for her personal properties We are also victim of Hurricane HarveyTherefore, we are disputing the claim from the guest because there were no refund promised according to our front desk Guest had stayed two nights with us, and we had accommodated her stay Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: Last and final opportunity attempt to resolve this issue I can request in court that all my damages be replaced I only asked for a refund of the $ for a bedroom suite with a full kitchen which had major water damage and I believe they were aware that the room was not suitable to rent out because I was only in this suite for less than hours the damages from the roof was seriousI attempted to decline the emergency room but every hotel in the area was booked and the emergency room I was forced to stay in was single room that didn't have any amenities no towel paper, no towels, no hot water that room was not the same price of the suite some adjustment should have been made just on that fact onlyThe room you provide was unfit it very uncomfortable, not accommodating for my family members some of my family slept in the car I'm not filing any complaint with Hurricane Harvey you already have filed with your insurance company and I know that you received money for your damages as I now will follow with a lawsuit you will compensate me for my lossesNo judge in the state of Texas will allow you to get away with over charging for a hr stay most emergency stays requires hotels to accommodate and not price grudge in emergency situationsNo further discussion other then a full reimbursement or at the least an adjustment for the rate for a single room that I was forced to stay in

Guest agreed the terms and policies when guest check in and signed the registration card. The policies stated that motel is not liable for anything missing because guest could misplace it or mistaken of what he had. In addition, we require police officer to request for video

I am rejecting this response because:The police were there when I filed the reportI asked for the manager and owner to assist at am on wed 11thI was there and waited the manager/owner never showed upThe front desk refused to give me the name of the owner or managerI am not saying the company is responsibleI am saying the process behind it is not okayI'm asking for a refund of my stay or a partial refund of my stayThis hotel has several complaints with Revdex.com there is no reason why I should have to go through hoops to be heard and understoodThe reporting officer asked for the footage to which you refused to supplyThe front desk clerk stated " is this really worth your time and money to pursue"

I am rejecting this response because:I'm aware of what a civil case involvesHowever your staff was extremely rude during my stay the owner and managers refused to even apologize about the eventI want a refund for my stayHow am I supposed to provide you with the information you are requesting when the manager and or owner wont give me their names or even meet with me when I was there? Do you not have a response to your staff asking me if "this is really worth my time and money to pursue?" Who says something like this to someone who was robbedInitially an apology would have been somewhat sufficientI have discovered that your establishment operates in a very scam like mannerism. Please refund my stay.
