Review: I purchased a Prada frame from this store on 11-**/2014 paying $250. I was not very satisfied with it, but could not find others that I liked better, so I decided to buy it. And the [redacted] knew my thinking and he promised me that I can come back again, if I cannot find frame I want, he'll refund my money. He wrote a note about this on the receipt. I went back twice, and with no luck of finding the frames I like. Because of his nice attitude, I decided to have my lens changed at his store on 1-**-2015 costing another $250. Then the next week when I went back to request returning the Prada frames and having my refund, he refused to do it. He said I cannot return the frame and will not refund my $250. I was furious, that is not suppose the way people do business.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my full refund of $250, I will give back the frame

Response:
I am sorry that [redacted] feels that she is entitled to a refund. When she originally came in, I spent 1 1/2 hours helping her to pick out a frame, but she couldn't decide and said she would return with her 10 year old daughter. Even with her daughter present at a second visit, she still couldn't decide on a frame. At a third visit, after 1 hour she decided on a Prada frame, but insisted that I allow her a refund if she found a better frame somewhere else. Our normal policy is store credit only, but to help her on her decision, I told her I would refund her if she found glasses elsewhere. I even put in clear lenses at no charge so she could wear the frames over her contact lenses. 2 months later she returned to have lenses put into her own frame. I thought she was coming back at this point to return the Prada frame for a refund, but again she tried on more frames and agreed that the Prada frame looked best on her and she was going to keep them. 2 weeks later she called and said she wanted a refund on the Prada frame. After the amount of time I spent with her choosing a frame and the 2 month delay in asking for a refund, I think the patient is being unreasonable in her request.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The [redacted]'s statement is not true. I did not insist the refund when purchased the frame, instead he offered to refund if I could not find a better frame later on in HIS OWN STORE, not at other stores. He proposed to write the refund note, that's why I decided to buy the frame even I was not completely satisfied. Also, It's not that I called to ask for the fefund, I stopped by his store to ask for the refund, and he refused to do it. We had a big argument at that time. if he is honest he would remember this.
