had access to the tracker, a product they were most likely unfamiliar with, causing irreparable damage to the internal parts of the tracker. Upon examination of the tracker once it was brought back to the shop, it was obvious to all present that the sim card had been wedged much further into the tracker by use of force. When I inquired what may have happened, I was informed that an AT&T employee had worked on it with a pair of tweezers. The sim card was unable to be removed after the damage, rendering the tracker useless. The manufacturer's warranty states "12 months manufacturer's warranty for defective items (excluding items damaged or misused after receipt)". While frustration on the customer's side is certainly understandable, it is misplaced. Austin Spy Shop tried to assist the customer, but after several visits, it became obvious that the damage was done by a third party that is apparently unwilling to accept responsibility for it.
