December 12, 2015[redacted]Better Busines BureauPO Box 1000DuPont, WA 98327RE: Your Complaint# [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]:PAGE 1I am writing you regarding the complaint sent to you by Ms. [redacted].Ms. [redacted] had her car towed to us on Oct...

30, 2015 because it wouldn't start. We diagnosed that the battery in the car was bad. We never told her that the alarmwas draining the battery. We diagnosed the bad battery in her car, ordered a brandnew battery for her car, and installed the new battery in her car. We did notdisconnect anything whatsoever on her car. The car started perfectly when shepicked it up. We have no idea what, if anything, is wrong with her alarm orwindshield wipers because we weren't asked to look at them and we didn't touchthem. When you consider the time spent diagnosing the battery problem, the cost ofthe new battery, and the time to install the new battery, the $215.30 plus tax price wecharged her is extremely reasonable. Additionally, Ms. [redacted] has nevercontacted Austin's PRO/MAX and spoken to us directly regarding anything about thework we did on her car. Please feel free to call me if you have any further questions about this matter. I canbe reached at 253-472-1709. We have been working on cars for over seventeenyears and we have never misrepresented anything to any customer. We take a greatdeal of pride in what we do and we put our customers first in everything we do.Sincerely,Robert D. R[redacted]General Manager/Member

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I'm not complaining about the part. The first part was wrong second one worked but the computer in the ignition was the problem from the start which was never assessed. When I called the shop about this I was told they assumed it was just the ignition. I'm complaining that I was charged for one thing while the problem was elsewhere, and to top it off the chip inside my key was missing so couldn't program it to the ignition and pro max says that it was working when I brought it in but after having my car towed to dealer found out there was no chip inside my key. I have a saved message on my phone from promax stating the chip was gone I guess they forgot about the message which proves the chip was taken out by promax. I Paid for towing because after putting in ignition was told they didn't know the key needs programming which how can you charge someone not knowing to complete fix for repair?.Also had to buy a new key from dealer because mines had no chip in it anymore so couldn't be programmed which is the complaint. The wrong assessment on fixing my vehicle and losing my chip which cost me more money.
Sincerely[redacted]
