wanted to make sure she still had a high seer stage unitThese units only come in whole tonnagesWe knew this would be a processThe customer was given option to add a dehumidifier so that the excess humidity would be removedThis was not what they wantedThey had sued the previous company and Trane so those units had to be removed and returnedWe did a heat load on the houseOur calculations came that the front portion of the house would need a unit slightly larger than tonstons was not an option since the customer only wanted high efficiency two stage unitsThe customer was aware of these case and still proceeded with our installation when they clearly knew all the circumstances and size of the unitThe size and that we were correcting the humidity issues was clearly stated on the estimate an invoice for work to be doneWhen we installed the unit and everyone knew that there was no margin for error since the unit was sized so close to the heat loadThe customer knew that this was going to be a work in progress since we sized the unit close to heat load so that we could fix the humidityWe had been over there numerous timesWe tried everything in our power to make sure everything was satisfactoryWe went and raised units under house so that they could level dirt under house and put tarps to help make sure water would not stay under the house and cause problemsWe have gone out to the house to check when she has called about the house getting hotWe have never recorded temperatures above on the thermostatAlso when temperatures were checked at different places in house it was found to be slightly lower in some spotsWhen we suggested insulating the under side of house the customer did not want to do thisAt this point the there was nothing more that we could do to help themThey called the manufacturer of the units and had them come out they also did a heat load and knew that the ton was smallJust like I told the customer when we first started that the best size would have been the and we did the ton since the would cause humidity alsoThere are new units on the market that have stages and can now install a ton to cover the cooling capacity and not have the humidity issues as beforeI have offered as the customer stated to replace the system to the new ton stage unit at costI offered to do this at cost and the customer agreed to this in another meeting that we hadI am trying to resolve and have answered all the questions that I can for themSome answer are needed from other people involved including the ownersTell us why here
