During that initial conversation *** *** was extremely rude and judgmental. Due to *** ***'s disposition it is not recommended that she works in the hospitality industry. We don't want to spend any further time responding to *** ***'s erroneous comments; we just want to close
this issue. We apologize, for the delay in processing her refund; our bookkeeper did not process it in time because of a miscommunication. Based on the fact that *** *** attended class (which was certainly more than hours) and only paid $towards tuition she is not due a refund because she started class with less than the required $tuition payment ($total including registration and book fees). However, due to her service breakdown claim we will immediately issue her the partial refund of $81.00.Ultimately, we wish *** *** the best the in her future endeavors. *** ***'s $refund will be mailed tomorrow or if she is in need of the funds immediately we can send it via *** if *** *** has a *** account (we would just need the email address associated with her *** account). Please advise

I am rejecting this response because: the owner is lying. Her establishment is worn down, dirty & roach infested. She couldn't accept the truth from someone else who does have a successful business.  I completed bartending school at another local facility and have done extremely well thus far in the hospitality industry.  The owner of the bartending school ignored my request for a refund until I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.com. Shortly,  there after, she suddenly responded to my many phone calls & emails, and promptly issued me a refund. Yes, please forward my response to her and consider this matter as closed.

Review: I applied to this school last year of September, after they took my payments they were no longer reachable. when I actually started the classes after 2 months of waiting I only was able to attend for 3 days in which the teacher spent only 2 hours in the class out of 3 days I attended because he was interviewing prospective students while the people who had already paid sat and suffered with no learning going on. I feel like they took my money and never cared about actually teaching the class. My mom has opened a restaurant where I was supposed to be the bartender but I cant even help her out because I couldnt complete the course due to the school itself. Ive been calling for months and no one answers EVER. I was told 2 months ago to write a letter to the owner and send it certified mail in which he would contact me within 2-3 weeks with a refund of my money. (obviously she told me that because she knew I was upset and she didnt want to deal with it) Long Story short he did not write, call, or even try to contact me in any way, shape, or form. This school is a scam and almost every student that attended has said so (trust me ive asked around). Im fed up and business or schools who dont live up to their standards should not even be in existence.. This school cost more than my college courses, and I should be able to get the education I deserve. If a class is 5 hours I want at least 4 1/2 hours of learning, this school is ridiculously unprofessional!Desired Settlement: I just want my $595.00 so I can attend another school that is promising and get my license ASAP. I no longer want this hanging over my head.... its been almost a year fight with these guys so I came to u!

Review: I attended Authentic Bartending School November 2013 and passed my written exam. Shortly after graduating I was suppose to receive a phone call telling when I could pick up my license. I changed my phone number but, my email address is and has always been the same. I contacted both instructors Blue AND Arroya so I could retrieve my license and they assured me it would be sent. I NEVER received my license or heard from either of them again. I went to pick up my license but, was told that the school had been shut down for good, I went on the website and can't use the email to contact the school and their phone number no longer works. I just want my license and to be able to put my skills to use because I can't without my license.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and to finally receive my license.

Review: I paid this school my money in full I attended one class an had a family emergency to attend back in my country I called an said I don't want to continue with the class anymore they told me write a certified letter an mail it an ill be refunded my money back , I sent the letter I was told it was received an ill get a call in a few weeks well 2 months pass an no call I called them back an was told the school was closing down an moving that's why no one got back to me I give them another 2 weeks no one call me back I called again someone answer an said the NYC school is closed down for good an this is the PA school an they going to take care of getting me my refund its a year now an I still haven't gotten my money back I sent emails an call every week an the only time they would rely is when I said ill call a lawyer or come all the way out to PA to see them in person . Someone call me an said ill get my money in a week they moving some funds around an ill get a check in a week well that week never came an no he number for them is no longer in service an no one replying to my emails . I think I was scam of my money close to 500 dollars can someone please help me get in contact with these people so I can get my money back an move on with my life.
