Authority Asphalt

Review: November 5th, 2013, Driveway work not to my satisfaction, resurface work done. I was also promised that in two weeks [redacted] would come out at no charge and put a heavy seal coating on our driveway. Driveway is unraveling, falling apart, asphalt is still coming into our home via our shoes, even a month after the work was done. Upon the first rain, the water is in a puddle on a portion of our driveway. A small pothole opened up two days after the work was done. The culvert sidewall is still crumbling. As I tried to resolve this with the [redacted], I was told I waited two months to have the work done, had I had it done in August When I asked for an estimate... and the weather was not 80 degrees and that I would have to wait until spring to "re-evaluate the situation". I had left two phone messages, towards the third week of November, with no call back after 4 or 5 days. And I then left a text message with pictures detailing my concern. I then received a phone call. I was upset with the fact that my concern was not completely received or listened to. I kept being interrupted and reminded that I chose to do the work in November, the fifth to be exact, rather than in August when I first inquired about the estimate to have the work done. We both started talking over each other, and I never fully got to finish my conversation. I was told that I was rude, and that I was harassing him with the text message, and the pictures that accompanied the text, and the two phone calls. I was told he, [redacted], would have his lawyer sue me for harassment and to NEVER call him again. I am deeply frustrated, disgusted, an disappointed. I feel "duped". I spent $2,100.00 to have this work done. Now I will have to pay another company to amend these problems. I think this is a poor form of business communication and resolution. No resolution was reached, and I have a failing, falling apart driveway.Desired Settlement: I feel this contractor has no intention of hearing my concerns, or for that matter fixing the problem, or paying another contractor to fix his mistakes.
