We have taken an opportunity to review and look into the claims Mr. [redacted] has mentioned.  There are three major things that we, being the property owners representative and the property owner have to review when deciding if they will accept a prospective tenant. ...

Verifiable income, credit score, and past rental history.  There are also some minor details such as pets and things that are to be considered. Due to privacy laws here in the state of California, we are not able to speak to any of the specifics with regards to this particular situation.  Our process for approval or denial is not based on any sort of medical conditions or past conditions.  Our applications do not request any sort of medical information or suggest that we would use that as a factor. If a person chooses to provide us that information it does not disregard our ability to approve or deny based on the three major factors we consider on all applicants.  We can find no evidence to validate the claims that Hanna spoke to Mr. [redacted] inappropriately or that he was denied due to a past medical situation. Hanna's position at Authority Property Management is such that she does not have the ability to approve or deny an application. Please feel free to call us and discuss the matter further. Please know that we are unable to speak to any specifics about Mr. [redacted]'s credit, rental history or income. Some things we can share: Neither of these individuals has ever been to our office in person(as stated in the complaint).  None of the staff in our office has ever spoken to the son. We don't see how we can come to a resolution.  We can't ethically place him in a home and disregard our fiduciary responsibility to the property owner or owners we represent. Mr. [redacted] has already applied for a refund of his application fees even though we did complete the processing of his and his son's application. Mr. [redacted] has sent along several off color and rude emails and we have had a few phone conversations when he has been quite rude.  Due to the communications and foul language of this individual, we will not be interested in doing business with him even if he met our qualifications.
