Mrs [redacted] has also filed a complaint with NC Dept of JusticeThis is a copy of the response I sentI have read the complaint and after talking with my employees they mostly agree with the statements from Mrs [redacted] There are a few things left out than maybe I can clarifyWindow film is a reflective film that is applied to the inside of the windows.The shading & the reflective properties are how the film blocks heat On a window with rear defrost these reflections can cause the light to be angled in different directionsThese are characteristics of thick quality film which is what we usedIn this case this particular car is more unfavorable than Mrs [redacted] would likeAfter years in business it is always the goal to make my customers happyAfter talking to the engineers at both [redacted] & [redacted] , which is the film we use, the only recommendation is the same as my tint installerTry a thinner lower quality film which Mrs [redacted] refused to do, or remove the film from the rear windowAfter tinting this window twice I will be happy to remove the rear window tint and give a partial refund of $or remove all of the film from all windows for a full refundMrs [redacted] is asking to keep the film as is and receive $I don't know of any store that would allow you to purchase a product and then get a refund on the product without it's returnI hope this is a favorable solutionThank You,Richard B [redacted] PresidentAuto Acoustics Inc

Afternoon-I received the Revdex.com recommendation of accepting Auto Acoustics offerI’m assuming either the $or to return and allow them to remove the film from all windowsI would like to know what Auto Acoustics response was to my reply of their narrativeGetting the rear window alone tinted at another location will cost me in excess of $ Why would I want to pay in excess of what I’ve already paidThis is a contract matter and attempt to make me whole from the initial agreement and warranties presented.I offered an alternative solution that would end any future interactions or dealings between the two partiesIt would be ill advised for me to return to the shop that demonstrated a lack of dispute resolution and professionalismPlease keep in mind it was their manager who folded his arms and told me they were refusing service and voiding the warrantyExactly what type of environment are you asking me to enter and what level of service would I receiveI would be simple to think they would handle the situation with open arms, courtesy and kindnessNot to mention if I feel something was damaged or not done properly I would have no peace of mind it would be handled in the proper mannerThe businesses alternate location is 30+ minutes from me as well.Please advise. These are normal characteristics of thick quality film which is what we used. In this case this particular car is more unfavorable than Mrs. [redacted] would like. After 27 years in business it is always the goal to make my customers happy. After talking to the engineers at both ** & [redacted], which is the film we use, the only recommendation is the same as my tint installer. Try a thinner lower quality film which Mrs. [redacted] refused to do, or remove the film from the rear window. After tinting this window twice I will be happy to remove the rear window tint and give a partial refund of $60.00 or remove all of the film from all 9 windows for a full refund. Mrs. [redacted] is asking to keep the film as is and receive $150.00. I don't know of any store that would allow you to purchase a product and then get a refund on the product without it's return.
