Had a passenger window replace on my vehicle on 5/29/The installers came to my residence asked for my keys and a power outlet and I showed them they said it would be about an hourI responded with an ok that's great and offered them each a bottle of waterWell over an hour passes I check and see how progress was coming, apparently they were finished so I go to inspect the job and notice the decal on the window was a slight bit crooked so I jumped in my car proceeded to roll it up or down and all I get is a buzz soundI then noticed my receipt in the seat and there was no indication that something was wrongI then call and I received quite a bit of run around with them initially stating it was my window motorI was confused and said why would this be it worked fine until the window was installed? They then said well it may be your regulator it often goes out when the window doesI was a bit confused so I then told them well I thought it was a workmanship issue because they didn't even notify me that the job was finished or say anything about something not working properlyThe manager then said we will look at it see if its our fault or what exactly the issue was I said ok and told them I would be by after workAfter work I pulled up at about 1:30pm spoke to the lady up front told her what was going on she said it would be a minuteI agreed they asked for my keys at about 3:30pm I'm waiting outside since the waiting room was full the lady comes out and says its your regulator they told you yesterdayI said no ma'am they didn't say anything they just packed up and left, no notification on my receipt or anythingShe said well I'm not sure went and got the technician he came and said the same thingI said oh wonderful how come you didn't tell me this after installation or during so that it could have been taken care ofHe dismissed me and began explaining why it was broken and how much it would cost to fixI listened said ok then left the shop and proceeded to call other glass installers who said that it was non typical it was more than likely broken during installationNot just one opinion but three other companies said it was highly unlikelySo I assume considering the circumstances and how they just left and didn't say anything that this was an error that happened during installation and the technician was willing to own up to itI'm very displeased with the handling of the situation and will definitely be using another company for the future
