Review: I work for a State Agency and am trying to pay this business for services rendered by my officers. I have been calling them weekly to send me a bill for the past 6 months. They agreed to send one monthly when we first negotiated a rate and/or contract and I now owe them over $200 and they don't seem to care that they haven't been paid. The manager doesn't care and the guy in charge of billing keeps telling me he'll send me a bill and he doesn't. I even gave him my billing address and have yet to receive. He promised me a bill the week of Memorial Day 2016 and to no avail he has failed. The guy before him was fired for not doing his job and this guy doesn't do his job either. I think his name is Matt. They clearly don't care if they get paid or not. I would be perfectly fine not paying them. I even offered to pay over the phone and the guy was like, well, let me create an invoice for you and send it out. He doesn't even know how much I owe him. I have all the receipts from January 2016 to present.Desired Settlement: I'd like to receive a bill so I can be done with this company.

Review: On Friday March 7th, I washed my Jeep at this car wash. On Saturday night at 9:00 PM, it began to rain. When I turned on my rear window wiper, I discovered it was missing. The car wash was closed at the time, so I waited until Sunday morning at 10:50 AM to call and inform them that my wiper was likely pulled off in the car wash. I spoke with Horge. He complained because I waited two days to call him (which you can wee by the timeline, I did not), but promised to look for my wiper in the wash and call me back, whether he found it or not. He never did. I called four more times and left messages with no return call. When I finally reach him on Wednesday March 11th, he said he looked for my wiper, but didn't find anything. Based upon his follow-up, I do not believe him. While a new wiper cost me only $10.00 to replace, he did not offer assistance in the form of a discount on a future wash; to replace the blade; an apology; nothing at all.Desired Settlement: $10.00 and an apology for lousy customer service.

Review: after receiving my car back from the body shop the insurance adjuster told me to take it to the auto bath house located in monroeville pa to get the burnt smell out of the interior as instructed I did so they had the vehical for 2 days upon getting vehical back from the bath house the inspection shown to jenn the general manager that the interior wasnt scrubbed as promised the windows still had the film of dirt all over them along with the interior panels the floor wasnt even completly vacumed and the dirty floor mats were in the trunk and the trunk wasnt cleaned either the car was a mess something not expected from a reputable company all these discepencies plus more were shown to jenn the general manager and she agreed that the vehicals interior was not cleaned as per agreed upon and the vehical wasnt inspected prior to giving it back to me and she said to give her another chance and let her clean it rite so I did this time someone did spend time on cleaning the interior and trunk unfortunatly when they scrubbed and extracted the trunk it appears that when they got to the back of the trunk the guy pulled the hose in to the large trunk and over the brand new bumper and damaging the new paint jenn wasnt there when I picked up the car and I was told by an employee to call jenn and tell her the car is damaged upon calling her she didnt want to see it or pretty much even talk about it much she said immediatly that she didnt damage the back bumper paint and that she really tried to help me I guess because they had to clean my interior twice if they would have cleaned my car rite the first time it might not have been damaged the car is a brand new 2014 impala it just came out of the body shop and it didnt have a scratch on it jenn was a major disapointment and so is the auto bath house I also told jenn that if she would show me the video surveillance of the gut detailing the car showed that the trunk cleaning guy didnt damage it I would walk away she refused and said good luck sapDesired Settlement: I want the new bumper repaired and because I was so happy to find a good detail company I set an appointment to get my truck detailed and even pre paid the full amount jenn told me that she doesnt give refunds either

Review: It was a sunny day on Thursday, July 30, 2015, so I took my newly purchased (7/2015) Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014 Overland to the car wash at approx. 4:40pm. I sat on the middle bench while watching my Jeep cleaning. All the employees washing my Jeep were using rags interchangeably from car to car, inside and out, window to window. At approx. 5:10pm they were finished. My Jeep driver's side door was left open for me to enter, and I proceeded out the exit. I made it a couple of miles when the sun hit my driver's side window, and I couldn't see out of it due to several scratches, some of which are so deep, it poses a hazard, and requires replacing. On my travel to the car wash, no scratches were noted. A new car purchase, in conjunction with the sunny day, that type of damage would've have been apparent. I pulled over at a friends house, where we both looked over the car. I noticed more damage on the driver's side door. A small dent with a scratch with paint missing about an inch long. I immediately called the car wash to speak to a manager at approx. 5:30pm. He was very defensive and rude. Not wanting to accept any responsibility for any damage. He told me that he will look at it and decide what kind of damage it is. I told him I drove there being able to see out my window, and left with so many scratches, that it is hard to see out it, especially when the sun hits it. It was late in the day, the car wash was closing soon, so I had to bring it the next morning. On Friday, July 31, 2015 at 8am, my husband and I went to the car wash to show the manager the damage. It was a wasted trip. He was rude and very defensive again. Unwilling to work with us at all. I could maybe see the scratch on the paint being a coincidence in terms of where it was, but the window, absolutely not! I told him the employees were using rags incorrectly, some had cell phones attached to their waists, and others even had jewelry on. He said no way. I told him, well, you are wearing a watch and a metal ring right now. He said he doesn't clean the cars. I told him, that he was actually the one who clean the area of my Jeep that is now damaged, and that it is highly likely that the employees, including him caused the damaged. Anyone of them could've damaged the Jeep with the stuff they had on, or even by picking up something on the rag, and transferring it to the Jeep. The conversation was going no where, so we asked for the corporate number, and he refused. It immediately through a red flag to us, and we decide to leave. Later, about 9:30am, I was able to get in touch with a lady named Jenny who claimed to be the owner. She was slightly more helpful, and gave me a refund of $53.50 for the car wash, but said she could do nothing else despite the estimates I gave her. Although we appreciate the refund it is a far cry from over $815 in damage to my Jeep...$615 to replace the driver's window, it can't be repair, and $200 to repair the dent/scratch/paint on driver's door.Desired Settlement: Being that this is a new vehicle purchase, we would like to be reimbursed for the entire amount of $815, but will settle for at least $615 to replace the window part #[redacted] since this is a safety concern, and we are 100% certain that this damage was caused by the car wash.

Response:

The damage to the customer’s window was in the form of a chip, as if it was hit with a screwdriver orsimilar. There were no scratches on her windows. Jewelry such as rings or watches regularly beingworn could not have done this type of damage. The customer stated when she came into theAutoSathouse she had “No damages on her vehicle.” In her complaint she goes on to say that the dentin her driver side door that is an inch long “may have been coincidental.” There is absolutely nothing inour carwash tunnel that would cause a dent to her door, and if we did her car would not be the only oneaffected by it. What is very interesting is to the BBS she claims that the damages to her car is worth$815 dollars, however I received a notice on August 19th from a collection agency trying to claimdamages for $2078.64. That is fraud. I’m very sorry about the damages that you have on your vehiclebut the AutoBathouse did not cause then, and is not responsible for their repair.

Response:

It clearly states in my complaint why I felt the damages came from this business, and I am not going to revisit the explanation. The business, based on my observation was negligent with their staff and use of supplies, therefore, causing the damage to my vehicle. They are not experts in what can cause damage and how, an insurance adjuster looked over the vehicle and confirmed my claims, and said it was consistent with car wash damage. Byt he way, there were no chips in the glass, they were all scratches!

With regard to the statement about the discrepancy between the $815 I put in my Revdex.com claim, and the amount in the collection claim from my insurance, well, that is easily explained. First, the $815 was only a phone quote I got from a dealership on my own while at work before I filed a claim through my insurance carrier. Why would I file a claim if it was within my deductible. After work I immediately went to the police station, filed a report, and called to file claim with my insurance company. This was all the same day I went to the business, the day after the incident. A complete walk around was done of the vehicle, where further damage was found, thus the over $2000 amount. I had already filed the Revdex.com claim, and was unable to modify that at the time, and since my insurance was handling it, I didn't find it prudent. This business should be careful to throw around such slanderous words as fraud!

As an side, I did speak to the aleged owner, who promised to refund me my car washes left on my card (approx $55), but, yep, you can guessed, I never received any refund.

My insurance company has been wonderful, and I will let them handle recovering the loss. I just hope that others steer clear of this business. They were extremely rude and not helpful in any step of the process.

Response:

I’ve waited to the very last possible minute to write back to the Revdex.com, in hopes I would be able to reviewthe information provided to the collection agency for this claim. So far the collection agency you sent usto, has provided the Autobathouse with zero information pertaining to this case. I have called, requested the quote more than once, and still have received nothing. However, even if vie did receivea quote it is clear in our rebuttal we know the damages did not come from the Autobathouse.Remember, your car would not be the only one affected by damages if it went through our tunnel anddried off by attendants at the end of the wash. This is the only damage complaint I’m dealing with. lamvery sorry about the damages to your car, but the Autobathouse did not damage your vehicle and is not responsible for its repair.

Review: Purchased a gift card for detail package in 2013 I have the receipt and the card still. Was told they never expire made an appointment for this service for August 18. 2015 checked to make sure everything was good before they took my car in they told me card had already been used. I ask what it was used for all the showed me was a paper he printed out that said I purchased the card in May of 2014 and used it on June 6, 2015. Which I did not. He said I could have given it to someone else to use I said I wouldn't give a detail package like that to anyone. I said I want to see what card was used for and why didn't they take card at time of service why do I still have it. Was a $179.99 package deal got it for 1/2 price purchased it one day when I was there getting car washed. Purchased it with my debit card. How can that gift card be the same as another one. So they get you to purchase these deals then tell you they have already been used when you want to have that service done. What kind of scam is this.Desired Settlement: Package deal was for detail interior restoration and exterior restoration $179.99 want that service

Response:

This customer actually purchased her detail on June 23~ 2013 and was used September 20th 2013. Weask customers to drop their detail cards off with their keys the day of service. We do this to verify if thecard has an active detail. if the card was not left with the keys, we will call the customer and have themread us the card ID number on the back for verification, this may be why the customer still has the cardin her possession. Perhaps the customer may have been forgotten using the detail since it waspurchased in 2013, but the card has been redeemed service was rendered.

This was our first time using the Full detail service from Auto Bath House. When I picked up the vehicle, I immediately noticed fingerprints on the rear windshield and on the rear passenger side window. Next the vacuuming that was performed was subpar, at best. All of this was brought to attention to the manager at the front desk, at which point a resolution was made where I was handed a voucher to have another detail performed at not cost.

The car was put away for the winter and brought out this week, due to the great weather, and we wanted to have the problem from last year rectified. I spoke with the Manger, Jorge, and the lack of customer service was overwhelming. Immediately being on the defense he said that there is no way that this problem can be resolved due to the lapse in time. At no point did he take into consideration that vehicles get put away for winter, ( I also have records proving that the vehicle was not driven in that time period). The first step to customer service was to see what the problem is, at no point was that even brought to light or elevated in the conversation! He did not want to accept responsibility for the lack in quality work, and also did want to resolve the problem. I discussed this problem with a few other people who have used their service, and the results have been the same. Poor workmanship, lack in customer service, and terrible communication skills. Overall this was a terrible experience and hopefully this review can serve a warning to other customers.

Review: On April 12th. 2015 I took my car to THE BATHOUSE CAR WASH IN MONROEVLLE to get what they told me was a SPEED DETAIL when I bought this SPEED DETAIL WASH CARD they told me it was a SPECIAL $99 SPEED DETAIL TWO FOR $70. I think they should be sighted for false advertizement as what they do for a SPEED DETAIL is no way worth the $35 I paid not alone the $99 they told me was the regular price. I got a better car wash job with their $16 car wash. The mats were supposed to be steam cleaned when I went to get into my car I seen they were not steam cleaned so I told a man I think they said he was a manager about it he came over and checked and found out I was right and then he took them and steam cleaned them than I told him the windows were smared he paid no attention to me and just walked away and never came back. When I got home I looked over my car only to find out they also gave it a hit & miss on the dash, around the door jams, wheels & all the wax was not removed. Seeing this I emailed THE AUTOBATHOUSE telling them that I was very disatified with the SPEED DETAIL job that was done on my car. I left them my email address and phone number to this day no one has contacted me. While I was in their waiting room their was a lady there waiting for her car to be redone as she was not happy with the job they did on her car.The Empl #[redacted] wash service advisor was [redacted] My car # [redacted] their is no way people are getting what they are paying for at THE AUTO BATHOUSE.Desired Settlement: rEDUE MY CAR AND DO IT RIGHT
