I am responding to the complaint referenced aboveFirst, the customers painting of the molding
on his *** *** was repainted in late July, 2008, not years ago as he has StatedWhile this area of the car is not normally repainted (usually a part replacement, but it is discontinued and no longer made for this vehicle) we do warranty the jobEssentially the customers summary of the complaint is correct, except that we have been extremely busy of late and I was unable to speak to either the painter or the owner about the situationNot an excuse, but just reality lately as we have been short of staff. I will reach out to the customer this week to schedule a time for him to drop off the vehicle for us to repaint the moldings and resolve this matter to his satisfaction
We did not write the estimate *** didWe bought the parts that *** requested on the estimateWe tried to repair the fender at ***'s requestThe customer requested to go to another shopHe never Contacted Auto body Connection or had any complaints at pick-upThe ***
supervisor tried to get the customer to allow Auto Body Connection to do the workWe have inspected the vehicle at the shop there are no safety issues only cosmetic*** is covering the cost of the rental carPer *** supervisor We have spoken to the shop and have authorized any work needed to satisfy the customer.Auto Body Connection gives a Life Ttime Warranty on all repairs. I am rejecting this response because the responses are false. In fact Autobody connection has been decertified as a [redacted] Authorized body shop!
