To whom it may concern, We at Auto Boutique were both surprised and concerned to receive notification of the complaint made against us We would like to explain our side of the situation and why we believe this claim is unwarranted Regarding the topic of
the $down payment, the customer purchased the vehicle on 10/3/on the basis of financing the deal through our dealership via *** Financial Services As is typical with financed deals we received a $down payment for the vehicle allowing Mr.*** to take the vehicle off the lot with him A few days after, Mr.*** decided he no longer wanted to finance the deal with *** and instead get funded through his bank In order for this new loan to be finalized he needed to sign additional documents regarding the lienholder, as the original *** deal had already been signed We were happy to accommodate this change, and we overnighted the documents to him Three weeks later, after having not signed any of the documents, he requested a refund of his $ He claimed he needed to use this as a deposit to give to his bank for the new loanWe requested that he brought back the vehicle as collateral in exchange for the check while he finalized the loan with his bank Upon the return of the vehicle we noted various damage to the car as well as the accumulated mileage from the days he had the car Despite this, we provided his money back in the form of a check, noting in the memo that it was for the bank Shortly after this we received notification that an attempt was made to cash said check for an amount of $ We believe Mr.*** modified the check we provided We did not cancel this check, as Mr.*** claims; instead the check was canceled due to fraudulent activity of altering the check amount His bank then notified us that he had requested a cancelation of the loan for the vehicle At this point we feel that we are the ones that have been deceived. Regarding the mechanical issues with the vehicle, Mr.*** was made fully aware of any existing issues when he purchased the car In addition, when Mr.*** brought the car back as collateral we noted various damage to the car as well as the mileage accumulated from the time that he had the vehicle. Regarding O.R.C1345.03, we believe that we have not committed any act that is unfair or not in good conscience We value our customers and their various situations so we made all reasonable attempts to accommodate for Mr.*** during this ordeal Instead we received news of the check fraud committed, followed by his claims that we canceled the check without reason This is not an accurate representation of the situation and we feel we are being accused of things that are not true Moving to O.R.C1345.09, since we feel that there was not a violation of as well as there being no case for deception in accordance with (B), we believe there is no justified reason for Auto Boutique to provide Mr.*** with compensation for economic, noneconomic, or recover damages. Throughout the duration of this incident we have been polite and accommodating with Mr.Jones We value all of our customers and strive to deliver honest and fair service We would like to resolve this incident as quickly as possible Please let us know if there is any additional documentation or information that we can provide Sincerely,

I have asked for help in obtaining my money backThe dealer knows he owes me the money and he is being dishonestThats what happens when you pay cash to someone that is dishonestAll im asking for is my money back ill eat the dollars but to eat the whole when he knows I gave that to him is wrong

To whom it may concern, At Auto Boutique we value our integrity and customer satisfaction above all else. We are concerned to hear that the customer feels that he was scammed; however we feel that we are in the right in this situation. As is verified by our payment records, the
customer was significantly behind on his payments (days late for the amount of $390). We have attached a copy of the “amount due today” document to verify our claim The customer did not respond to any of our calls and we unfortunately had to repossess the vehicle As of 11/30/the customer still had days to pay off the amount owed and reclaim the vehicle

Complaint # *** *** brought the car in for a miss-fire and a lot of white smoke from the tailpipeHe wanted a set price for how much the repair was going to costI told him I was unable to give him a set priceThe white smoke we knew was caused by the fuel injectorsThe seals
was also dry-rotted because three months back he changed two sensors and that's when two of the fuel injectors stated leakingWe found seals to repair those injectors and that's when I told him the other ones could last a day or monthsThe would eventually to be replacedHe then told me that he could not afford a new fuel injectorEach injector would cost $135xSo we looked for sealsWe found on the line some seals and installed themThat did fix the smoke problemAfter the miss-fire was diagnose, we found a fuel pressure regulator to be defectiveWe replaced the fuel pressure regulator and that fixed the misfire problemOnce the car would warm up and was in park it had a small hesitationThat is caused by a very small leakThe only way to find the leak is with a smoke machineI don't have this smoke machine at my shop so I told him to drive the car for a couple of days and see if the code would come backHe didn't want to hear what I had to sayAll he wanted was the money backI told him no and that there was nothing wrong with the work that was done to his carI did offer for him to bring the car to the *** Dealer for a diagnostic test and if they found it to be my fault I would pay for all of the expense but if they found it to not be my fault then I would not pay for anything and he would have to pay themHe say no and did not want to take up on the offerHe ended up taking the car to ** *** ***They did a smoke test and found a small leak on the intake bootI personally called *** at ** *** *** and he told me the boot was dry-rotted and he would have to be regularly replaced on it scheduled maintenance. If you have any questions, please call me at *** ***.Thank you,*** ***

We do not provide "fake carfaxes" nor do we "cover our tracks"We have multiple people who purchase vehicles on our behalf, it is difficult to keep track of each vehicle due to the amount of cars that we sellFor vehicle history reports we would go by the carfax just like the customerA vehicle
does not lose more than half of its value due to structural damage being reported on the CarfaxThe vehicle still has a clean title- even salvage title vehicles would still sell for more than what the customer is claiming to have sold this vehicle forWe would be more than happy to purchase the vehicle back for the full price excluding taxThis vehicle was purchased for $being a with less than 25,miles As you can see from the Carfax history based value that is attached, even with the "structural damage - Carfax still values this vehicle at over $more than what the vehicle was originally purchased for

We stand by our previous statement and welcome any further investigation by any organization.  Mr [redacted] is more then welcome to file suit in Franklin county, we would like nothing more then the opportunity to show that Mr [redacted] had committed felony check fraud and actually tried to defraud us.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
The car wasn't repaired correctly and he is the one who told me to bring it to [redacted] and he would take care of the repairs, [redacted] did smoke test and found several leaks also found that he cut and put my intake boot back on and this is also causing the hesitation he is talking about. My car has several screws missing there is parts where someone melted it in, [redacted] personally told him this and also wrote it on the receipt and he refused to pay for the cost as he said he would in front of neighbors my girlfriend and his coworker. He didn't repair my car correctly several months back with the sensors it started to smell and have smoke come out of my tail pipe so I had to bring it back to him to fix that's when he fixed the fuel inject ors he is speaking of, so they should have been under warranty from the first time. My car wasn't smoking this time when it went into the shop. He had a kid there trying to figure out what was wrong because he didn't even know he told me he spilled antifreeze on my coals and had to clean it there was many excuses to not refund the money or repair the car correctly. My vehicle is still not repaired because I can't locate the intake boot he cut on me so I am missing work I have paid him $1200 and [redacted]$140 because he said to bring it there and he would cover the costs. I also have other customers who have said he didn't fix their problem properly either. If I didn't take him word and pay him first he would've had to fix the vehicle but because I paid him he chose not to fix his mess up I would appreciate you helping me in this matter because he is robbing people and getting away with it putting bad parts into cars and taking things apart that he can't fix.
Regards,
[redacted]

I have sent you the warranty information over this dealer has cheated me by saying I have put a lot a mileage and done  damage to this car. iv put less then 200 miles on this car and in that 200 miles iv had nothing but problems with it. As far has the damage I have a witness that was with me there that day when I bought it had several dents in. I ask him about them he advised me they get them all the time like that and that's how they able to sell them cheap. This alex even told the legal department he would issue them a another check that he canceled. My bank number is ###-###-#### the lady name is Kristen if no one be leaves me. She has make several attempts after they spoke and he wont return her call now. Alex told me when I bought this car that they was reliable and trust worth they. I have like 5 recordings on my phone of him telling me all kinds of story's witch im going to produce to Abc 6 in Columbus this week and also in Franklin County Court Cause I am suing to get my down payment back. I have several documents and my Banks down here are aware of what this dealer has done. I will make sure everyone knows not to buy a car from this dealer its sad that people work everyday to get shafted by dealers like him he knows the truth of what happened and ill make sure the whole Columbus dose if I don't get my down payment back. Id be more then happy to let you listen to message if you call me thanks.
