Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below.I have worked as a mechanic for ten plus yearsI have attended an FAA licensed aviation maintenance program to train people to become air-frame and power-plant mechanicsI currently work as a field service technician with a heavy equipment dealer in the northeastThus, I am very familiar with the symptoms of an engine running on water contaminated fuelI have preformed all my own maintenance on my vehicles since high schoolThe fact is: my truck had zero issues with performance or any mechanical problems before I purchased fuel from this gas station, and had within the past two months passed the state vehicle safety and emissions inspection without any problem. My truck's fuel tank was below empty when I purchased gasoline and within minutes of fueling, was running rough, would not accelerate and the check engine light light up on the dash instrument cluster. There is no other possible way that water could have entered my vehicle's fuel tank or systemWhen water mixes with gasoline, the water, due to being more dense than gasoline goes to the bottom of the tank were the pitube for the fuel pump is, and therefore the fuel pump pulls the water at the bottom of the fuel tank into the vehicle's fuel system firstThe service manager at the repair facility where my vehicle was repaired found water in the fuel system and has personally signed the service report noting as such. The repairs included having to replace all eight spark plugs, which had been replaced in the spring of 2015, when I replaced the spark plugs and the coil-on-plug packsI have no reason to believe that a complete stranger to me would lie or otherwise be un-truthful to me regarding this repairWhat I do know is that before I purchased gasoline at this Auto Bright Car Wash gas station my vehicle had no mechanical problem or any other issue which may affect it's performance or safetyHowever, within twenty minutes of purchasing fuel, my truck was displaying all the signs of water contaminated gasoline

As was explained to this person, who is not interested in reality but rather vested in being right, gasoline stations are highly regulated with regard to the content of its fuel, and the accuracy of its distribution. Each underground storage tank contains a probe which is tied to a computer system....

This system, known as a Veederoot TLS-350, monitors the quantity of the fuel in the ground and if any water has infiltrated the tanks. Each day a report is printed out. There is not now, and never has been water in the gasoline here. Further, all fuel for every gasoline station in the state comes from the same distribution terminals. We all get our gasoline from the same tanks. If the fuel was contaminated in anyway, it would be an issue across the board. In other words, water would be in everyone's gas tank. And that, of course, is not the case. This person went to a mechanic and assumed that the mechanic was truthful and competent. Perhaps he is. Perhaps he isn't. Perhaps his mechanic is ripping him off. Perhaps there is water in this person gas tank. If there is, it did not come from Auto Bright. Auto Bright is one of the highest volume pumping gas stations in town. We have been pumping gas here under the current ownership since 1994. If we were in the business of selling fuel contaminated with water, we would be out of business. This customer did not want to listen to this logic. He simply through a temper tantrum. All he has to do is file a complaint with the Town of Framingham Department of Weights and Measures. They will come to Auto Bright and inspect the fuel and read the probe reports from the day the customer purchased the fuel. Instead this customer chose not to pursue this avenue but rather threaten the ownership with litigation and of course giving our business a one star review on [redacted] before waiting for a resolution based in reality and fact.  Attached are copies of the tank probe readings from July 7-9, 2016.  It clearly reads "Water Volume = 0".   We invited this person's mother and her son to come down to our place of business to see the attached probe reports.  She declined.  At this point, we view the one star review posted on [redacted] based on erroneous supposition on their part as slander.   If the person lodging the complaint is interested in a third party examination of the reports and our tanks, as I had told them, they only need to call the Town of Framingham Department of Weights and Measures and ask for [redacted].  The people lodging this complaint, however, don't really seem to be interested in the truth but rather finding someone to blame.
