Auto Brite Car Washes, Inc.

Charged way too much for a simple car wash. I used Auto Brite in Louisburg to wash my vehicles. The box clearly states first swipe $5, each additional swipe $1. I swiped my card once for the $5. Then, attempting to increase my time, swiped it again. Nothing happened. Then a third time. No extra time was allotted. I then used cash to finish my wash. Afterwards, I checked my bank statement and saw three charges of $25 each from Auto Brite Townsville NC. A total of $75. I called the number [redacted] several times to no answer and even tried [redacted]. Nothing. No one is answering and there is no other contact information available anywhere. Desired SettlementI would like a complete refund of the $75 dollars that was wrongly charged to my card. Business Response Thank you for the opprotunity to respond. The customer is correct on proper function of the credit card system. After recieveing sereral complaints concerning errors at the Louisburg site, I disconnected the credit/debit card function and refunded money owed to those who contacted me. I apologize that Mr.[redacted] overcharge did not reach me and will immediately refund his money as soon as I am able to verify his refund amount.The credit/debit system is preprogramed to be CPI compliant and until recently has been working properly. I am in contact with the equipment supplier and cerdit card company to correct this issue. In the meantime the credit/debit system will continue to be disconnected until I am able to reslove the malfunction.
