My car was damage while going through the car wash and they refused to repair it. They failed to me aware of the damage even though they were aware ofI drove my car to auto-brite for a full service car wash on 11/14/2014. My car was inspected for damages by asst. manager [redacted] before entering the car wash. After leaving the car wash, I stopped by the dollar store and upon leaving the store I notice the damage to my front bumper. I immediately return to the car wash which was less than a mile away and informed the asst. manager of the damage. In the beginning the asst. manager acknowledge that he had check he vehicle over and found no damage. The asst. manager also inform me that if it was any damage the individual([redacted]) who wipe the car down would have inform him of such. After speaking with the individual([redacted]) who wipe the car down she stated that she informed a employee by the name of [redacted] that the bumper was damage. At that time the Asst. Manager was informed that the bumper was damage. The asst. manager at that point began to change his story saying that the bumper must had been loose and that he heard the bumper scrubbing upon entering the driveway to the car wash which is not true. Even if that was the case which it is not I should have been informed of such damages before sending the car through the car wash. I also spoke to [redacted] over the telephone because I was informed by another employee she would be the one that I need to get in contact with because she was in charge. I explained the situation to her and she informed me that she had spoke to the asst. manager and the owner and that they were not going to pay for the damage. I have a [redacted] and the bumper was not damage before entering the carwash. I work hard for everything that I own and I am not looking for any hand out, I just want what right to be done. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter. The asst. manager acknowledge that he check the car over before sending the car through the car wash. Another employee informed me that it was a policy of the company to inform the customer of any damage that was visible before sending it through the car wash. I was not informed before or after sending it through.

I took my car to Auto Brite in Jacksonville, NC across from the mall to get a detail and as a result my leather driver's seat was ruined. I paid for a complete detail package, with the leather conditioning option selected costing a total of $120. After the detail, the driver's side grey leather seat was discolored to a dark blue/black splotched seat- the top layer of the original grey leather color appears to have been scrubbed off manually from cleaning or an abrasive chemical was put on it that caused the discoloration. When I contacted the head manager ([redacted]) with my complaint, he refused to pay for the damage done to my leather seat and did not even offer to reimburse me for the detail cost. He stated that my leather seat was already damaged when they received it, which is false because the discoloration was not there previously. Auto Brite did not provide a disclaimer mentioning how they were to treat the leather seat and the company did not notify me that the leather could be damaged. Had I known that my leather seat was going to be ruined or the risk of it being ruined, I never would have taken my car to Auto Brite for a detail. The discolored area on my seat is in a pattern and location which is inconsistent with normal wear and tear. The manager admitted that to clean the leather, his employees use a brillo pad and degreaser chemical. I contacted the corporate office after the franchise wouldn't work with me and the owner's ([redacted] and [redacted]) secretary said they will not do anything about the damage. I am now going through my insurance company to push this matter to court. Another two instances of neglect the company made was not putting items back into the vehicle after detail (I had to ask them to find the items and put them back in the car) and not spraying the scent I selected into car. I am not recommending this company to everyone I meet and I will be using this company as a case study of how not to manage a company and how not to treat customers.Product_Or_Service: Complete DetailDesired SettlementI would like the discoloration in my leather seat repaired or fixed and a refund for my detail.
