We have resolved this issue with the ACTUAL customerWe were unable to take calls from this customer because we were busy helping a customer in the officeWe answered the phone and told the customer to call back at a later time when we were availableThe customer continued to call back an
additional 6-timesWe have had to block a number from this same customer who continues to call us everyday multiple times a day and we have told them that they are interfering with our daily operationsWe have since spoken with the customer and he has agreed to only call in an emergency
Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] regarding this case. The customer's concerns have been addressed at this time. The vehicle was sold "As-Is" but the business did order the customer a new key fob. It is the customer's responsibly to take the fob to the Nissan dealer to have it programmed. This is a cost the customer is responsible as the car was sold "As-Is"
Review: Purchased [redacted] on 11/20/2015
11/27/15 -- Was driving to a family member's residence and wheel broke off of moving vehicle, which could've lead to death. Less than 100 miles had been put on vehicle since its been in my possession. Visited Advanced Auto Parts to start purchasing parts to begin repairing vehicle.
11/28/15 -- Had to cancel various HVAC jobs because transportation was not reliable due to necessary repairs. Resulting in loss of income.
11/30/15 -- Contacted dealer and no answer
12/2/15 -- spoke with George (salesman); he stated he couldn't believe this happened; very apologetic; stated owner would be in touch and do something to better the situation. My contact info was taken down by employee.
12/4/15 -- Called and spoke to female employee; she stated the owner hasn't reached out because he is in Florida and will reach out on 12/7-8. I asked questions about the failed part that caused incident and asked why they put an after-market control arm on truck. She explained why; I then explained to her that my mechanic found that the failure of the part was caused due to the dealer mechanic's installation of the after-market control arm, where the bolt that runs through the upper ball joint had been cross-threaded.
My mechanic explained, if they had properly inspected the vehicle, it would have never legally passed Virginia State Inspection. My contact info was taken down by employee.
12/12/15 -- Never received call from owner so I reached out again. Was told by another female employee he was back from Florida but was attending a funeral that day. She stated this was the first she heard of the situation. My contact info was taken and was told I would receive a call.Desired Settlement: Main concern:
This accident could've been a lot worse causing injury/death of myself or to others because a right wheel breaking off of a moving vehicle is extremely dangerous. I am notifying Revdex.com in hopes to be compensated by dealer for purchased parts caused by their mechanic's negligence and prevent another buyer being put at risk.
