Miss [redacted] purchased a Jeep Liberty with 130,xxx miles from our dealership in January of It was sold and she did have some problems right after she purchased it A hose was loose on the radiator and we had the vehicle towed to our service facility and made the necessary repairs About a month later ( February ) her check engine light came on Once again we had it towed to our service facility After running diagnostics, we determined the Jeep needed new catalytic converters We went ahead and replaced them for her at no expense to Miss [redacted] and put her in a rental car Unfortunately we do not feel we need to keep maintaining her car that we sold As-Is

I CAN NOT COMMENT ON WHAT EXACYLY WAS SAID BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND THE SALES PERSON ON THE PHONE, BUT WE HAVE COVERSTAIONS VIA TEXT THAT I HAVE CONCLUED TO BE TRUTHFUL AND HONEST RESPONCESTHE CUSTOMER WAS PROVIDED AN AUTO CHECK AS WELL AS A DISCLOSER STATING THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IMPORTED AND THAT THE ODOMETER WAS CONVERTED FROM KILOMETERS TO MILESTHE CUSTOMER HAD ALL THE OPPERTUNITY TO HAVE A THIRD PARTY INSPECT THE VEHICLE IF HE WERE TO CHOOSE TO DO THAT THE CUSTOMER VISUALLY INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND TEST DROVE IT AS WELLTHE VEHICLE WAS MISSOURI STATE INSPECTED AND VERY MUSCH ROAD READYWE AS A DEALER REACHED OUT IN A ATTEMPT TO HELP THE CUSTOMER AND HIS ONLY REMEDY WAS A FULL REIMBURSEMENTTHE SOFT TOP WAS NEVER PART OF THE DEAL THAT WE HAD NOT NEGOTIATED WITH THE SALE OF THIS VEHICLEWE HAD IT IN A BAG IN OUR SHOP AND OFFER IT TO HIM AT NO EXTRA EXPENSE THE ODOMETER OR TACOMETER WAS WORKING AT THE TIME OF SALE AND WE HAVE NO EVIDENCE FROM AN AUTHERIZED MACHANIC STATING OTHER WISETHE CUSTOMER AT THE END OF THE DAY ELECTED TO PROCEDE WITH PURCHASING THE VEHICLE AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION AND ALL AROUND INSPECTION OF SAID VEHICLEWE RESERVE THE RIGHT AT THIS TIME TO NOT ASSIST IN ANY WAY DUE TO THE CONTINUIOUS ACCOUNTS OF SLANDER AND LEGAL THREATS

The motor was installed over months ago and is no longer covered under the month/3,mile warrantyThe vehicle also has a lifetime powertrain warranty on it but he will not authorize the repair facility to take the steps required to
verify that the problem with his vehicle is covered under that warrantyHis lifetime powertrain warranty is through Enterprise Financial Group and not Auto Centers Bonne Terre therefore we feel we have no responsibility for any charges that he may incur should it not be a warranty case

Customer is to return said vehicle due to the fact that they are not able to produce adequate documentation required by the financial institution . Customer was not able to meet the lending stipulations required by the bank . We have made all efforts to assist them in their purchase. Auto...

centers is sorry for any inconvenience , but can not be liable for failure to produce all requested documentation pertaining to said deal.  Auto centers has all applicable paper work and credit applications with signature's authorizing this dealership to pull credit.

I do know there was never a charging issue addressed at our shop and there was a bulletin stating that the ecm needed to be flashed and the customer refused the repair. This is noted on the signed repair order. The dealership is in no way financially responsible on said vehicle. The service contract was canceled and the cost was taken off the loan. I feel we did put our best foot forward to assist the customer to the best of our abilities.
