Writing in response to ID [redacted]. Auto Choice is willing to refund partial payment of the previous repair work performed. Would be refunding 2 of the 3 hours charged on the repair order, totaling 173.50. History: Customer had car towed in stating that car would crank but would not start and did...

not mention anything about security light issues. Mechanic diagnosed, stating there was power to pump but fuel pump would not work, resulting in the fuel pump would need replaced. Once pump was replaced car started with no issues. Fuel pump replacement was 3 hours of labor and is reflected on repair order. After few weeks customer called back stating car would not start again, stating this time that the security light is flashing. Customer stated that she had read and found a procedure to make the car start and said she shouldn't have been charged for previous repairs since she thinks it is the same issue. Service Manager had told customer to return with vehicle and that we would look into the issue but stated that there may be another problem with car, Customer never returned with vehicle for further diagnoses. Auto Choice stands behind the repairs performed on the Vehicle and would have same diagnoses for anyone else with same issue whether man or woman. Auto Choice is willing to reimburse partial payment of labor costs in effort to reach a desired settlement. A base of 1 hour is charged on every vehicle that has diagnoses performed, meaning that the customer would have had 1 hour of labor charged even if we didn't replace the fuel pump, and the remaining 2 hours will be reimbursed.
