In Response to rebutle.  The home owner never presented a 10% off coupon at the time that I wrote their new contract. They did how ever mention the free entrance door with whole house siding that we honored and agreed to close off the back entrance door  to the garage in exchange.Home owner was pleased with this, and had no complaints. Should they have presented a 10% off coupon it would have been invalid due to the disclaimer that only one coupon per project could be used and also it must be presented at the time of the estimate. Not 6 weeks after the job was paid in full. If they had a concern or question about the 10% off coupon then why did they pay the bill in full????? Why six weeks later would they bring it up???????These people expressed no concerns or complaints when the job was finished and payment requested. I credited them back $750 for the railing portion of the job. They had no complaints and agreed to the refund. This customer did tell me that they received numerous complements on the appearance of their new siding and windows. I am going to send them a refund for our attempted repair of the faulty roof that some other contractor installed. I will send them their siding manufactures warranty. I will NOT waist any more of my time on this frivolous complaint. This is a classic example of someone attempting to get something for nothing. If they insist on continuing this nonsense then, I will insist that they pay for the $850 bill for painting that the home owner bullied and conned out of our painters. Also they should realize that no names our mentioned on this site so that they are protected from slander.I am requesting that this frivolous complaint and attempt to swindle Biltmore out of money be stricken from our well earned rating with the Revdex.com

Review: I took my 2000 Ford Contour into Auto Clinic on October 2, 2015. My engine was hesitating and unable to accelerate at high speed while I was on the freeway. I had my car towed by AAA to Auto Clinic. They "diagnosed" that my timing belt had jumped and had caused my car to be unable to accelerate. I paid $420 for a brand new timing belt, a valve cover gasket with grommets set, and an acc. belt tensioner. I took it home and two days later was driving on the freeway when I noticed the same problem. I was fortunately able to drive back to Auto Clinic on Monday when they opened at 8am. I called later that day and they said that the problem was my transmission was almost burnt. I was upset and told them that I wanted to be refunded my money because they had "fixed a problem" that was nonexistent. My dad is a mechanic and looked over the parts that they had removed and replaced and told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the parts that they had replaced. He told me that if it had actually jumped time the teeth would have been ripped out of the belt, which none had been. I called the owner of Auto Clinic and wanted my money back and was rudely turned down until I told him I would report him. He then said he would refund me $100-150 back. After having my dad evaluate the parts, I am extremely upset that I was charged for a problem that was nonexistent. I am currently filing a claim with my bank to be refunded completely. I have never received worse customer service before in my life, and my life and those around me were put in jeopardy as soon as I left the auto store. They told me my car was fine - which was far from the truth.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the ENTIRE amount of $420.

Review: My car started making an odd, loud noise from the engine compartment. The Auto Clinic was the closest repair shop to my workplace, so I dropped off my car at 8. They said they'd call me once they discover the problem. I received a call a couple of hours later from one of the owners, and he explained to me that there were some things that needed to be done and that the cost for everything would be $650. I started the engine, everything was the same as it was when I dropped off the vehicle in the first place. Still a loud noise coming from the engine compartment, still the same vibration. I immediately shut off the engine, got out of my car and approached the owner. I told him that the reason why I had brought my car to them in the first place was because of the noise and the vibration. His answer was that there was a belt issue that was causing the noise but that the vehicle was safe to drive. He also told me that the mechanic said that there was noticeable improvement in performance when he test drove the vehicle after the services were done. A couple of couple weeks later when I noticed a check engine light. I brought the vehicle to a [redacted] dealership in order to get a proper diagnosis. The mechanic there told me that my transmission was hanging on by one bolt and that he is surprised that the transmission hadn't dropped out of the bottom yet. In other words, the vehicle was definitely NOT safe to drive as Auto Clinic had advised me. Furthermore, the noise and vibration was NOT caused by a belt issue, but rather the transmission and the engine had dropped low enough to severely damage the cat converter. That was also the cause of the check engine light. The ** mechanic ran the numbers and informed me that the cost to repair the transmission would be $1,400. He also informed me that the cost to repair the cat converter would be about another $2,000. In other words, Auto Clinic did nothing to identify or fix the major issues related to my vehicle.Desired Settlement: A full refund in the amount of $650 for services NOT rendered.
