We have sold the *** family many cars since 2002. Most of the transactions have not been smooth although a few were. We had financed *** on a Hyundai Tuscon a few years ago. She did pay timely on the loan and as a result we were able to trade her car in for a new
car. However, since her income is minimal we had tried to explain to her at the time that her income would not qualify her for a loan. She and her husband (who was not working at the time) wanted a Honda Pilot. We had sent the deal to every bank to prove it too them but then they offered their daughter as a cosigner. The deal was approved with down. They only had $and had written us checks to cash on a future date for the balance. They bounced. At the time of delivery this Honda Pilot had only mile., It passed inspection quickly through an independent source. At one point in the transaactioon we had switched cars to another (I do not remember) and had it approved at the bank but then they switched back to the Pilot. I was contacted yesterday for the first time and said that the car should still be under factory warranty . They did not want to bring it to Honda...they wanted to bring it to us. I am happy to do this for them but we would require and request that the balance be paid first

We are responding to the recent dispute with [redacted].  We value our Revdex.com rating and strive to give each customer a wonderful buying experience.  There is no disagreement here regarding the fact that we showed her the vehicle history report.  The vehicle is safe and the...

minor damage was repaired by a licensed repair shop.  the vehicle was hit lightly in the left front.  There are degrees of damage and this was light.  The light was replaced and the radiator support was repaired.  The radiator support repair earns it the structural designation.  It would be the same if a rear quarter panel was damaged by a shopping cart and replaced.  There is no difference.  However, the designation saves the customer money on the selling price.  [redacted] is incorrect as to the reason Ford did not work on the vehicle.  They did not perform repair work because it was out of factory warranty.  They did however diagnose it and the repair work was performed by us and the issue has been corrected.  Yesterday, we received a call from her again complaining.  The vehicle did not start.  In fact, the battery was given a jump and the vehicle started.  This sometimes happens in cold weather....  Or....she may have left on a light or an accessory.  We know that it is working.  Now, we assume that there are no problems but we also assume that she is not happy.  We have offered to trade her into another vehicle but she has declined.  If she absolutely wants to return the vehicle we will honor that request and just charge her for any use of the vehicle at normal use and mileage charges.Thank you to the Revdex.com  for getting involved and trying to resolve any dispute.  we look forward to your assistance. Sincerely,[redacted]

Yes I did purchase the car at 77,000 miles at the time of purchase in febuary 2015. This is not my first time purchasing a car with the business I had a 2008 Nissan Altima that I had for 1 year and never had a problem with it so I felt that is was in my best interest to go and purchase another car from the business. Yes I did speak with the [redacted] of the business and he was very rude and disgusting to me as a customer! His exact words were " I am not giving you your money back and if you have a problem with the car you need to let the bank. One and reposes it" then he hung up the phone on me. Now why would I let the bank take a car that I have been paying for when the bank is not the reason why the car isn't working? And yes he did ask me how many miles are currently on the car and I was unable to give an accurate answer because the car is not working! And I am unable to drive it! And as I stated to Paul the [redacted] the car was in bad condition when I purchased it he yelled at me and said no it was not now he wants me to take full responsibity for something I didn't cause! I am a grown women I work and go to school I don't just dog cars out and trash them and try to get new ones that's not the person I am! This isn't my first car. I have sent many people to purchase cars from this business and yet this is how I am treated as a customer!

we have tried repeatedly to satisfy [redacted].  We have known her and her family for a long time.  She did by the car in February of 2015 with 77,000 miles.  IT is true that in May 2015 she had an issue with the car.  A water leak had developed and the computer did get wet. ...

Although the car had almost 10,000 miles on it since the purchase 3 months before, we did repair the issue and also replaced a hub bearing as good will.  I don't know of any other dealer that would have done that for her.  Today, we received a call from her saying that the car is cutting off.  I asked how many miles were on the vehicle and did not receive an answer.  Of course, we can have an issue repaired but there is a point where a person must take responsibility.  Depending on the mileage on the vehicle we would be willing to offer assistance. However, this strictly depends on the mileage on the vehicle.

Blown water pump, blown ENGINE, Bad catalytic converter, driver air bag useless, broken dip stick, leaky bad battery ,no jack or spare tire, car has to be a flood car, inside rusty and very dirty. Plus more I cannot think of right now. They made me wait until night time so I would not see all the trouble with it plus. ABS light, engine light on.The drivers side air bag has its plate SCREWED ON making it useless. There are supposed to be catches that easily release if an accident and this plate is screwed on with screws ! Plus I also found out when I had a oil change that the tie rods were bad. They sold me a DANGEROUS car that could get myself and loved ones KILLED because of their GREED ! I lost my truck during Sandy and waited about 5 months before buying a car because I was worried I would get a flood car and this place stuck me anyway. Charged me double for a warranty that they use their own shop/friend to boot. When going back to have problems fixed they NEVER fixed all the repairs and kept telling me next time, next time, next time. They promised to fix all but then never fixed the repairs. The two criminals are the [redacted]" and head man / [redacted]". I asked for the repair invoice over 10 times and they refused to give them to me. I finally called up the warranty company and received the repair invoice and found out why they refused to give me the invoice and that is because they "Auto connection" charged the warranty company 2800 but the repairs were ONLY 1400-1800.00. I looked at the invoice and saw my signature was FORGED on the paper ! Forgery is a CRIMINAL ACT !! They signed my name on the warranty papers so I would not see they received more money ! This is FRAUD !They had the car about 12 times and I lost use of the car for approximate 4 months plus over 1000.00 in rentals cars and taxis out of my pocket for all that time. Also the monthly payments and insurence payments for a car not being able to drive. [redacted] told me at the end that the car had too many problems and to come in for he would give me another car. When I went in to get it 4-5 times he said come back in a couple of weeks for this or that excuse. Then finally he tells me I would have to give him 1500.00 more ! I said why would I buy another car when the first one is a lemon and you promised an exchange(phone call recorded). Then I talked to [redacted] who gave me the same song and dance for another month or so and told me he would exchange but then demanded 500.00 more plus a higher loan amount for the different car. They do not return phone or tell you to come in and are not there about 80% of the time. They lie and lie and lie. They dragged it on for months on purpose to have my warranty expire and then told me I am now stuck for the repairs. I have a car that barely runs with no inspection sticker thats filthy and worthless that I paid over 8000.00 for plus all extra expenses. I am paying off a car but must rent a car every time I go out east once a month because I am worried it will break down. My last phone call [redacted] said he does not work for them anymore but [redacted] says he does. I believe [redacted] said he is at South Shore. They cannot even get their lies right. They can post whatever answer they want to this post but it will be more lies. I have the forged papers and recorded all my conversations with them and have PROOF of ALL of this. There is much more to this than I could possibly right up with all the games they played and lies. Basically they will treat you nice for 30 days and tell it will all be fixed so you do not cancel the transaction. After that they will play games and joke about it to each other on what they got away with. Forging my name on the papers is a criminal act and one that they cannot make an excuse for or lie about.

Review: I purchased a car from auto connection in February 2015 upon purchase the car needed roaders & brakes then the hub bearings were no good after the car wouldn't start and when it did start it wouldn't cut off I later found out that there was a whole in the car and the computer was damaged! It's now July 2015 and the cars check engine light has been on for about a month in a half as well as other lights while I'm driving the car cuts off and when I turn the wheel the car shuts off immediately which is very dangerous! These kinds of problems I shouldn't have after 5 months of owning a car! I'm very upset because I work and go to school and have a family and this car I have purchased from them isn't safe!Desired Settlement: I am just looking for a replacement car that will not give me all these issues!

Review: On November**, 2012 I purchased a vehicle from Auto Connection. Auto Connection was paid in full by Chase Financing and I took possession of the vehicle. However, on May **, 2013, I received a call from Auto Connection stating that I had owed them $1000. I went to their office that same evening to find out the basis of their claim. I spoke to two individuals named [redacted] and [redacted] become extremely antagonistic and irate when I asked him to explain how I could owe them any money when they were paid in full by the bank and I was given the vehicle which was documented on a contract that we both signed. I concluded through this hostile interaction, that Auto connection is attempting to charge me $1000 for the interest rate that I received from Chase. [redacted] claims that another bank offered me 10% (which was never presented to me) and he was able to get me a 5.75% from Chase. However, [redacted] seems to have forgotten that I had a pre-approved loan from my Credit Union ( NY TEAM FCU) with an interest rate of 5.9%. Auto Connection wanted me to finance the loan through them, therefore, they tried to beat my rate which they ultimately did with a 5.75% through Chase. I agreed to finance with Chase since it was slightly lower than the 5.9% from my credit union. I have excellent credit and would never agree to pay $1000 for any interest rate or ever had any discussions about the interest rate except for stating what it was. Furthermore, Auto Connection has not been able present any documentation which states that I agreed to pay them $1000 for a lower interest rate or provide an documentation of how I could owe them money above and beyond what is indicated on our signed contract. There was also mention of an additional down payment owed, but they were paid in full by Chase, so how could I owe them any more money? They are threatening to send this claim to a collection agency if I do not pay it, although they have never sent me a bill in writing. In addition, on May, **, 2013 I canceled the Vehicle Service Contract that I purchased through them and as of July *, 2013 Premier Essential has not received a cancellation from Auto Connection. Therefore, they are unable to issue a refund for the remaining term of the contract.Desired Settlement: Auto Connection needs to send my written cancellation request to Premier Essentials- Vehicle Service Contract (###-###-####) so they can credit my loan accordingly. Also, Auto Connection must cease any threats of sending this claim to collection agency, as they are unable to produce any documentation which indicates that I agreed to pay them $1000 for a lower interest rate or provide an documentation of how I could owe them money above and beyond what is indicated on our signed contract.

Response:

Cust has used 9732 miles of the warranty. The warranty has been cancelled and a refund in the amount of $1502 may be expected within 10 days.

Thank you for your assistance.

To Whom it May Concern:

We were unable to respond electronically via your website [redacted] is incorrect that we were fully compensated by the funding of the bank. A Copy of bill of sale is attached. We received 22114.90 (less bank acquisition fees) from Chase. The bill of sale clearly shows a down payment of $2200.00.

Due to the hurricane we allowed people who were hurt by the storm extra time to bring in their down payments . These people were hurt by the storm and we extended that small courtesy to them. I don't know why there is a misunderstanding but I'd like to move on.

We will waive the balance due and call off the collection efforts in exchange for the 235.87 which she says is due her. We will agree to hold harmless for any indemnities related to this sale, past present or future. Obviously, we request the same.

Please let me know if this is acceptable.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It appears that your recollection of what actually took place in your office on November **, 2012 differs vastly from reality.

I’m confused as to what you’re asking me to agree too? You did absolutely NOTHING for me. As a matter of fact, you demanded that I pay $1000 and threatened to send me to the collection for a debt that I ABSOLUTELY do not owe. Therefore, I do not agree to you “waiving” a balance that I did not incur and you could not possibly send me to collections because you have no basis. And this the first time I'm hearing of you giving Sandy victims extra time to bring in a down payment, which is likely due to the fact that I do not owe you ANYTHING.

Please send me the balance of what is owed to me which is the amount of $235.87 as a final resolution to matter if you would truly like to move on.

Thank you,

Review: the worst used car dealer around I purchased a Honda Pilot and after feeling out the credit application they said that I needed a cosigner. they kept given me the run around for 2 weeks. even thought I was approved!!!!!! when I received a Bill Statement that [redacted] had payed them $26,812 I when to see [redacted] the owner. and he tried to denied it!! [redacted] had said that my wife did not qualified for the loan. I contacted [redacted] and after talking to them they gave me the Honda Pilot. even thought they tried giving me they tried the bait and switch game giving me a much cheaper worthless car a toyota not only did they not give me a good working car. But, the vehicle had 2 bad front tires which they said that they were going to replaced, But, the car has a very bad sound in the front which they never fixed, dirty back seat which they said that they would take care of. Both of the people [redacted], and [redacted] the [redacted] are no longer working there, [redacted] refuses to take care of the problem, and even have sent me to a collection company to try to get an additional $700 which I don't owe. he's trying to ruin my credit, and my daughter. I trusted on him!! and he deceived me. even thought I had recommended people from him. if you are buying a used car go to a reputable used car business!! I would not rate him not even 1 star. make your self a favor and buy in another dealership. ti paid for registration and they gave me a temporary, But, never sent me the registration from Dmv I received 2 summonses for no registrationDesired Settlement: Replacement
