Revdex.comHoliday Drive, Suite 220Pittsburgh, PA 15220Attn: [redacted] Complaint#: [redacted] In response to the complaint that was receivedTo get the full measure of the situation you need to start from the beginningThe customer initially leased from us a Pontiac Gin November We offer every customer on every sale to take any car they are looking at to a garage of their choice to get an opinion from someone they are used to dealing with before they purchaseThe customer refused to take it anywhere and, after they test drove the car, leased the vehicleThe customer called in May of and stated that she was having trouble with, the GWe had her take it to her mechanic in Butler where it ended up needing a transmissionWe paid for the transmission and repairThe customer asked for, and received, a rental vehicle from our fleet at a reduced rateThe repair was done and the rental was returned to usAt the time of return, the customer owed $in rental charges which she said she couldn't payShe then decided she no longer wanted the Gand was interested in the Ford FocusThe full down payment amount of $1,(A courtesy we afford current customers who wish to trade vehicles is to accept half of the down paymentIn this case $500.00.) The customer could not come up with the entire $down payment so the owner worked with the customer and accepted $as a goodwill gestureWhen the Gwas brought in to trade, the front bumper and grill were smashed, and the left side of the vehicle was also damagedThese damages were the responsibility of the customer to repairThe cost of the bodywork to get the car back in saleable condition was $928.06, which the customer did not pay forThe Ford Focus that the customer traded into was in good running condition when it leftShe was, as is our policy,, given the opportunity to take the car to a garage to be looked over before she purchased againThe customer declined this optionThree days after the customer left with the car, she called and said there was a hole in the radiatorShe did not want to bring it up here for us to look at, so we made arrangements to have a radiator purchased for the customer whose husband completed the replacementAfter the replacement, the customer called and said that the car was now running badly, and that they had changed the spark plugs to try to fix the rough running, The customer reported that the spark plugs did not fix the situation, and we advised her that the vehicle had to be brought up so we could assess it, The customer had the vehicle towed up to the dealership where it was sent out to be assessedThe mechanic determined that the car had been run in an overheated condition beyond the engines tolerances and that the excessive heat and length of time the car was run in that condition had damaged the head gasketSince customer abuse of a vehicle is not covered under the year, 50,mile internal engine, internal transmission warranty that comes with most of the vehicles sold at the dealership, the customer was informed that she was responsible for the cost of repairWe feel that we have gone above and beyond any reasonable, expectation to make this customer happy with her car, however, the customer has abused not one, but two vehicles, leaving them both in a condition that made them unsellableThe customer still owes the dealership $for the unpaid rental, $for the damages to the G6, and $1,for the cost of the blown head gasket on the Ford FocusThese amounts total $2,884.00.Respectfully submittedKen L [redacted] , PresidentAuto Divide, Inc [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The claims made by Auto Divide are blown out of purportionI do not accept responsibility for a car that had a warranty Ford focusWhy have a warranty if you refuse to honor it? The damage to the Gwas explained to the dealer upon trade in which ibwas told not to worry about itWhy might I inquire has the complete and total ignoring the Customer been a tactic used? You can make up numbers for repairs but that doesn't make it correctI am not surprised this way turned around on me in this mannerI do not owe you over dollarsA bumper for a gis dollars maxAuto divide left out alot of the story, most of which would cast them in a negative lightI still would like my deposit back so I can take my business somewhere elseWhat auto divide is doing is deceptive and theft Regards, [redacted]
