Review: I purchased a 2004 chevrolet 1500 truck from Auto Exchange Team in Ventura, California on 1/20/2014 and the following occurred:I asked them for the smog certificate and they stated it would be mailed to me in about 2 weeks. I felt this was not right but I thought maybe it was true. I stated to the dealership I need to be sure the truck passed smog and they stated it did.Within about 6 hours of receiving the truck the Check Engine light came on. I took it back the next day 1/21/2014. They could not check computer because sensor was out and I was told to take it back on Friday 1/26/201. I took the truck in on Friday, 1/26/2014 and I was told knock sensor #2 was out. On Saturday afternoon, 1/27/2014, I picked up truck and was told they replaced knock sensor #1 and #2 and head gaskets. Within about 4 hours of receiving the truck, the Check Engine light came on again. I took the truck back late afternoon they still could not run the diagnostics on the truck because the truck computer was not working. The mechanic took to the truck to a different shop and the different shop mechanic stated to give the engine 2 weeks for the computer to recognize nock sensors that were replaced. The other shop mechanic also stated that if the check engine light still stays on within a few weeks it might be the vacuum.Desired Settlement: I want the check engine light codes checked out and whatever is wrong fixed properly. I need the truck to pass smog. I still have not received the "smog certificate in the mail" which they said I would within 2 weeks of purchase and it is now nearly 2 months. I also want the truck to be inspected by a different mechanic shop other than theirs or one they want to take it to. Camarillo Care Center would be one of my choices. Thanks for the email regarding the companaint on our dealer ship from Mr [redacted] Dniel Serrano on 2004 chevy silverado check engine issue which his statment is not 100 % accurate we have the truck smoged before we sold him the truck the check engine came on after the sell per his request and our policy we had repsonded to his request and gave him a copy of the smog certificed on the spot which I hand it to him personally for his dad information also as we found out the the knock sensors were bad we replaced them and head gasket as well showed him the invoice for the part at no charge at all then he came back with same issue check engine light as I told him the parts are under warranty and as his mechanic did the diagnostic on the truck he also said the knok senors were bad as well I have told him few times he visted us back that we would be happy to replace them for him at no charge but due to his work and time he could not make it and came late afternoon we could not do any thing for him , we needed more time to work on his truck but we need the right time set up .on 03/10/2014 he showed up and wanting the to buy his own knock senors and as well as harness which I told him no need but if he feels ok we would be happy do it for him at no cost for labor .

on 03/15/2014 he showed up againe saying he dose not have the money for parts yet also he going away for week he would like to have it done which againe I told him that no need to buy parts so he told me that his wife is going to drop the truck on monday for reapir on the check engine issue.
