August 13, To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in response to the complaint dated Friday, August 8, Please be advised that we looked at the *** *** for *** *** on August 7, Before entering the garage, we advised *** *** that her warranty had expired
because the mileage limitations were exceeded as she had put well over 1,miles on her vehicle which came with a 1,mile warrantyNonetheless, we acted very good with *** *** and informed her that we would look at her vehicle free of chargeUpon looking at her vehicle, her emergency brakes were perfectly fine and had plenty of life leftWe even demonstrated this by applying the emergency brake in front of her when the vehicle went back outsideWhen we did this, she had nothing to say. Also, *** *** does not understand that a non employee is not allowed to walk around in a garage area with heavy machinery and equipmentUpon ignoring our repeated requests to not walk next to the machinery, I asked her one last time and she finally complied. In conclusion, we offered *** *** to look at her vehicle which we did at no charge, even after her warranty was expiredHer emergency brakes looked to be in very good shape and we have attached a picture with this response as proofThank you for your attention in this matter.Sincerely,Joe K

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
When we purchased the vehicle on January 30, 2015, we were NEVER told about an extended warrantyJoe never explained that we could purchase an extended warranty and if it was brought to our attention that we could have, we would haveAs for Joe responding that the oil had never been changed in 10,miles, either he is lying about the engine being replaced since when you replace an engine you would also have to put new oil in or he is lying about it never having an oil changeAt the time of the engine going bad, it was not due for an oil change yetSo I am concluding since Joe cannot submit me proof of the engine being replaced and him claiming that the oil has never been replaced that he in fact did not replace my engineI still hold firm my original request for my refund that I paid him as a down payment plus the remainder of the cost to pay the vehicle off of our credit.
Regards,

August 28, 2014To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in response to the complaint dated Friday, August 20, *** *** keeps complaining of an item which was not a covered component under her warrantyAs stated in the first letter, we checked her vehicle free of charge, in good faithAs far as performing any work for free for *** ***, unfortunately we cannot do this, as her warranty was an engine and transmission warranty onlyAdditionally, her vehicle checked out fine when we checked it outWe hope this helps in resolving her issue.Sincerely,Joe K

Hi [redacted]. Per our conversation earlier, we installed an engine for this customer on March 26, 2015. The customer was out of warranty , however we still extended a discount of approximately $2200 to the customer and the customer paid $875 total for the job. We did all this for her as a means to help her and we were under no obligation to do so. The mileage at the time was 109,033. As of today the approximate mileage on the vehicle is 115,000. No oil change has been done to the vehicle since March 26, 2015.
Thank you. Joe.

May 30, 2015To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is in response to the complaint dated Friday, May 22, 2015. [redacted], put approximately 10,000 Miles on her vehicle since purchased January 30, 2015. [redacted] had a warranty on her vehicle at time of purchase and was...

advised to buy an extended warranty due to excessive mileage that was being put on her vehicle, however she declined. In conclusion, as of this date, there is documented proof that [redacted] has not serviced her vehicle or even had an oil change in over 6,000 miles. Oil Changes on her vehicle are recommended every 3 months or 3,000 miles whichever occurs first. With this vehicle, like any vehicle on the roads today, it is absolutely critical and crucial to at the very minimum, perform a simple oil change as recommended by the manufacturer to keep the engine in good shape. If you call the ** dealer and inform them that a vehicle has not had an oil change and went double the recommended mileage without an oil change, I am certain that they will advise you that it would be very likely to develop some kind of problem.Sincerely,E Joe K
