Attention: [redacted]In response to your letter dated 2/22/2018 and as a follow-up to our conversation on 02/26/2018, with regards to Complaint ID # [redacted] please find my rebuttal to TAG Towing and Collision. As I stated in my original complaint, TAG Towing refused to provide upfront the cost of pulling my vehicle out of the mud and never told me I had to pay cash. When the Tow Truck Operator first arrived at my location, he began filling-out paper work asking for my Driver License and vehicle information (Make, Model, License Plate No.).  After that he pulled his truck approximately 5 feet in front of my car and began spooling cable from his wench, according to the invoice [redacted] 20 feet more than what was required to safely hookup to my vehicle. The Tow Truck Operator pulled my vehicle approximately 6 feet or so forward on to solid ground, unhooked my vehicle from the truck and I was able to safely drive to my parking lot. I waited for the Tow Truck Operator to meet me in the parking lot so I could pay my bill; it was then he communicated the amount of $330.00 and that it was cash only. At no time did the Tow Truck Operator or the Dispatcher indicate the reason for cash; only that if I did not pay them they would call the police and have me arrested on the spot.It was at this time I was escorted by the Tow Truck Operator to the nearest ATM, where I made a withdraw of $330 and paid the Tow Truck Operator. As I stated on Monday, it's not about recouping any costs, it's about making sure that a predatory Tow Truck Company does perpetrate this fraud on another unsuspecting customer, especially someone who is elderly or on a fixed income.Furthermore, I am not the only person that used TAG Towing's and had a bad experience, there are dozens of similar complaints that can be easily found online. In closing, the only correct information in TAG Towing's response was that I called them to request their service, they pulled my vehicle out of the mud and that I paid them $330.Please contact me if you have any issues, questions or concerns.Thank you.Sincerely,[redacted]

The owner of Tag Towing lied in his response to you, the Revdex.com. He said I was illegally parked. As you can see by the police report I attached, Tag Towing has NO permits to tow from the lot that they stole my car from. That was lie #1. Lie # 2 came when he said "most cars park head in". You can't park head or rear in. You must park perpendicular to a wall. Parking as such leaves both the front and rear of the vehicle accessible. Lie # 3 was when Brian H[redacted], owner of Tag Towing said dollies were necessary to move my car because of the inaccessibility. The car was accessible for this unpermitted illegal tow.

This customer was parked illegally the vehicle was impounded as most front wheel drive vehicles people park head in so you would have to drag the vehicle out if we didn't use dollies it would damage the transmission . I told the owner when he called that we were closed but we release 24 hours a day...

if he can call and give us an hour notice he then called at 800 from the lot that we have for convenience for customers so they can get the vehicle easier . when he called I said he was to call an hour in advance and didn't but I would get a driver on the way . the driver was there at 900 as I said he had to pay cash because it was after hours and office was closed we met him as a convenience to him. He walked up on the driver and said he got my cash now lets get him so yes he was a bit alarmed when he said this and told him to try it and it would end bad he also told him to get his car and leave nothing more or less

Review: On or around 1/25/14 I was in an accident and called for towing assistance. This company also goes by "Tag Towing and Collision" which is what came up when I Google "Cheap Towing". I have unfortunately have been in more than I would like to say small accidents and have ALWAYS used Bowser Automotive. Some may ask, why would I change this time? Well when I called for service the operator, later to be named as [redacted], tried to sell me on the fact that his establishments works on the Steelers cars, which was cool, but I insisted on using Bowser Automotive, because of history and good work. I ended up choosing the Auto Gallery because he said some of the most beautiful words that I could possibly want to hear in this situation. "I will waive your deductible, which was $500!" So being a single parent, tight on funds, I accepted the business relationship. 3 months later on 4/19/14 I went to pick up my vehicle after countless calls for updates. I was always told its winter time, it takes time to get parts, and no one has your parts because Suzuki is not in the country anymore. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was in the rental car that at first was a courtesy car, now I'm finding out they are charging me for the use of the rental, they also said it had a scratch that I was responsible for the cost of the repair. After making the initial repairs to my vehicle, He knowingly put a new engine into the vehicle without my authorization. He did that to extort extra money from the insurance company. He has over $11,000 in checks; the car is only worth $12,000. He demanded I paid $2060 to get my car back on top of the insurance checks. He took the keys from the loner rental, police were involved, couldn't give me vehicle because of services rendered. I was advised to handle it with the insurance company or pay the $2060 and sign the $11,000 check from the insurance. I declined and walked home. I am calling the adjuster on Monday. These people are scammers stay far away!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Keep the car!!! I will take the $11,000 and pay my off my lien holder. Which would have been my first decision if I knew they was installing a new engine. I could have a new car, and not have waited 3 months, or dealt with any of this at all!

Please withdrawal the complaint I on filed on 4/15/2014, against Tag Towing and Collision, this issue has been resolved. Thank you!

Review: I am writing to register a formal complaint regarding automobile repair fraud committed by The Auto Gallery of[redacted] in its handling of my 2004 Honda CRV following an accident that occurred on May 25, 2013. My car ended up at the Auto Gallery car through its strong-armed tactics the evening of my accident as they showed up immediately and told me I could not call AAA as it needed to be moved immediately and made me feel I had no choice but to use their company. The Auto Gallery proceeded to take responsibility for the repairs of my automobile following the accident. [redacted], the owner of the establishment, convinced me that the damage to my car was mostly superficial, & that even though my insurance company was deeming it a total loss, it could be easily fixed if I opted to retain the salvage since the repair costs would be less than the worth of the car, and no major structural damage was done. He quoted a cost of $8300 and three weeks. The Auto Gallery was in possession of my car for two and a half months (from May 25 - August 8), continually giving me the runaround for why it was not yet ready, after which time they billed me for $8,989.82 (not counting tax), nearly $700 more than the original estimate. After getting it back I have had numerous issues with it & thus have taken it to Honda for costly repairs & insp where they have found: the drive belt came off due to the tensioner having excessive play, It was found that issue was due to the bolts having been stripped out from being installed incorrectly; the rear brake pads were worn low & rotors rusted excessively (making a grinding noise that Mr. [redacted] actually pointed out saying it was safe & just dust); and most alarmingly, that they installed the front engine mount upside down, broke it in the process, welded it to the frame and painted over it to cover it up, causing mult other parts to be incorrectly installed (leaning pwr steering rsvr) or omitted (cover for the torque convtrDesired Settlement: Honda is unable to repair the upside-down front engine mount because it was welded into place. Honda also informed me that I will get very little if anything on a trade-in for this vehicle with the problems as they are. At this point, I am left with a car that is riddled with on-going issues that ultimately cannot be fixed due to the gross and willful negligence of the Auto Gallery. To date, this has cost a total of $10,932.13 with further costs guaranteed. I am requesting that Mr. [redacted] and/or the Auto Gallery reimburse me for the full amount of $10,932.13 that I can put toward a new automobile.
