Does not stand by their work
Chad and company would not admit that they either screwed up putting in the windshield or that it was a defective windshield. December 9th had the windshield installed and noticed a large line crack that appeared on January 6th. I assume the crack started earlier but took a while to spread and be noticed by me. I called the company and they told me it was probably a stone chip and would charge me $35 to drive out and look. They did not find a stone chip, they then made up some lie about it looking like someone had blunt force hit the review mirror from the inside which caused the crack. I explained that no one did that and then he said it also looked like "pop" had been sprayed on the windshield by the mirror, this is also not true.

In the End, Chad said that based on his 30 years in the business that it was negligence that cause the crack. Chad is a liar and does not stand by the products he sells and installs. Should be called Auto Glass Unlimited Garbage sold to unsuspecting people company.

yes I called my bank to start procedures to reverse credit card charges on day of issue ( 7/27/) After we ( my wife and I ) reviewed the Company's response, We could not believe all the untruths (lies) we will wait until the credit card charges are reversed, then we will send a cashiers check totaling invoice amount before the unethical percent overcharge for necessary work to do a professional job, or no warranty of professional work would be givenSince windshield was already removed, my wife had no choice other then to except the extortionThe Company can except our payment or take whatever steps they deem necessary

By this time we couldn't agree on anything and he chose to call the Denver Police insteadI agreed and gave him my business card with all my contact information on it including my personal mobile phone numberWe here at Auto Glass Unlimited have the right to refuse to do Business with anyone and I chose to practice that right. Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/06/29) */
Case # [redacted]
On 7/8/2014 I [redacted] replaced a windshield on Mr. [redacted] 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the time of installation I noticed some rust damage to the roof of his vehicle this is caused by standing water,...

dirt, leaves, and other harsh Colorado weather elements at that time I recommended that he take his vehicle to a Certified Auto Body Shop to get the rust repaired. He declined and said that body repairs were not in his budget at that time, and then agreed to have the windshield installed anyway. I proceeded with the installation. On 6/5/15 I went to Mr. [redacted] residents in a attempt to reseal the leaky windshield. I once again discussed with Mr. [redacted] that the vehicle needed to be taken to a Certified Auto body Shop by the expense of Mr. [redacted]. After repairs are done Auto Glass Unlimited will install a new windshield and all proper materials to ensure a leak free installation for lifetime of vehicle. At no expense to Mr. [redacted]. On our warranty page of Auto Glass Unlimited web site it reads
Auto Glass Unlimited is pleased to offer a lifetime warranty against leaks on all auto glass installations. This warranty expires when you sell your vehicle. Limitations which may VOID the warranty include leaks resulting from existing or subsequent rust damage, gasket deterioration ,body/structural changes or failure to immediately report a problem. Auto Glass Unlimited reserves the right to inspect all products and installations prior to authorizing any repair or replacement. Auto Glass Unlimited will respond to any warranty situation promptly; therefore, any water moisture or other damage to the vehicle is the responsibility of the vehicle owner. Any claim must be reported immediately . failure to do so will nullify the warranty.
According to our warranty we feel the warranty is Void but with a outstanding customer satisfaction with the Revdex.com we here at Auto Glass Unlimited make every attempt to have satisfied customers. Therefore Once repairs are done by a Body Shop please call our office to have a new windshield installed Free of charge. Thank you for your concern.
Best Regards,
Mr. [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/07/05) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
the response is a total fabrication, again there was no information/concerns with the quick 15 min installation from arrival to payment. Invoice WXXXXXX shows paid with no wording of warranty is void with sell of vehicle, or gasket deterioration, rust, and the rest of his response in paragraph two regarding his warranty is no were printed on my invoice. My invoice reads: Thank you for your business. Your referrals are always appreciated! WARRANTY-A.G.U OFFERS A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON ALL WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 30 DAY GLASS MANUFACTURE WARRANTY. NO WARRANTY ON ELECRICAL(which should be spelled ELECTRICAL) DEVICES OR USED GLASS. CARE INTRUCTIONS- REMOVE TAPE IN 48HRS. NO CAR WASH FOR 48HRS. LEAVE A WINDOW CRACKED FOR 24HRS. CURING TIME VARIES ON EACH VEHICLE, ALTHOUGH IT IS RECOMMENDED THE VEHICLE NOT BE DRIVEN OR DRIVEN AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE DURING THE FIRST 24HRS. Again I state there was no statement made in regards to ANY problems with install. Again my SECURITY system has VIEDO AND AUDIO to verify. Also information from Autobody repair shop and dealership informs me rust is not the issue. Auto glass unlimited is telling a out right lie about installation. This company is a joke and a very bad and total disgrace to customer service and should not even be allowed to operate as a business. To resolve this matter now I am convinced that a refund is the option. I don't want this man or his business or representatives near my car or residence. I will wait for further information, and Thank you for your time and support on this issue.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/07/13) */
Auto Glass Unlimited stands by it original offer we will install a NEW Windshield and all proper materials in Mr. [redacted] Jeep once the rust issue has been repaired. Auto Glass Unlimited will not refund any money. It sounds like he has been in contact with a Body Shop / Dealership if he has some paper work from that Body Shop / Dealership showing that the rust is not a issue we would like to see that also. Or if it is more convenient for me to speak directly with the representative from this Auto Body Shop / Dealership I would be willing to do that also. I will need a phone number. If it turns out that the Jeep will need repairs I will coordinate a time and date for a replacement with the representative so that its done in a timely matter.
Regards,
Mr. [redacted]
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2015/07/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again if the rust was an issue at install, a professional installer would not installed until proper prep was done or installed with NOTED on invoice there was an issue, not bringing it up now. I have a couple of reputable glass company options that will install and fix any problems with my car to approx. the original price I paid of 172.00. So a refund is a good start to this resolution, I will fax 1 of my options to Revdex.com. I will not forward any info to A.G.U. Thank you for your time and patience.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: there is paint damage around the windshield .It dose not show in pics, but He can see at [redacted] &  knows what he did this is just away out of paying for it.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

In response to [redacted] complaint, he had contacted us to replace his drivers door glass on a 1999 GMC pickup. In the process of installing the glass, my installer determined that the window regulator was damaged and needed to be replaced as well. Mr. [redacted] choose to...

locate a new regulator himself in hopes of saving some money. He also agreed to have my installer temporally shim the glass inside of the door to keep any weather from damaging the inside of his vehicle. As he stated in his complaint we were hired to install a new window and window only. When I spoke with him this morning he informed me that he found a new regulator and asked if would install it for him. I told him that it would be an additional $85.00 for the additional cost of labor. He thought that it should be included in the price. I informed him that was not the case. He said he would try and install the regulator by himself but he said he was not familiar with the installation process. He was not willing to pay any additional cost for the installation of the regulator and stated that he would only pay me for the glass. My installer went the extra mile and stayed there for over one hour trying to repair his old window regulator in hopes of saving Mr. [redacted] money for the cost of a new window regulator unfortunately in this case it was not repairable. The reason the door panel was not reinstalled was because it would have to be removed again for the regulator to be replaced, he was also okay with that. Also this morning when we spoke he informed me that he was not going to pay me for any labor that we did on his vehicle he only wanted to pay for the door glass nothing more. I told him that the full amount of the invoice was due, he disagreed once again. At that time I told him that if the invoice was not paid in full that I would remove my glass and he could shop with a different company, he also agreed. Its unfortunate that there is a hand full of people in this world that think they can order services from companies and not pay for services rendered. I will send a installer to remove the door glass from his vehicle because I did not receive any payment for our services.[redacted]

Tell us why here.. We her at Auto Glass Unlimited make every attempt in making all our customers happy in this case [redacted] did not fall in that category! When the new windshield was installed by the new company if installed correctly the paint damage would be covered by urethane and a new moulding. At no time in the removal process was there any other additional paint damage done by myself that I didn't address with the black paint primer like I mentioned in my last letter.  All that had to be done was for the new company to lay a bead of urethane and install a new moulding, and set new windshield. I would like to see pictures of this so called damage that [redacted] is accusing me of. Pictures can me emailed to me at [email protected] or I can back to the residence of [redacted] and inspect it myself. Also if there was such damage did the new company put in writing on his final invoice stating as such?    Regards, Chad Mondragon
