*** ***'s account of the situation is lacking in detail and is completely out of sequenceWhen he requested the work a price was negotiated and set it included extra work and parts not covered by his payment, but were included to give the job a complete look*** *** was made to understand that some areas could not be repaired for the agreed upon price and that the work may take longer than usual due to the free extras we were performingAs he stated in his complaint, he did visit and the work on the door and front end was not complete however, he did not notice the many small repairs we had completed up to that point, *** *** is not our only clientThusly the situation turned sour and *** *** backed out of the extra repairs and opted to retrieve his truck as soon as possibleThis hasty decision halted all work on extra projects and the priority was shifted to repair only the collision damage and nothing else, Once the initial damage was repaired the truck was retuned to *** ***He did return to inform us of three small missing pieces on the lower rear bumper, which were retrieved and installed in a record ten minutes without incident, It was at this point unbeknownst to us that he contacted the SAPDUpon investigation the officer determined that *** *** had no valid complaint as the work was completed and delivered as requested by *** *** and that all small complaints post delivery were rectified in a timely manner*** *** seems to be upset that he complained himself out of extrasHere at Auto Ouy we pride ourselves on satisfying the customerWhen he became upset at the progress we gladly accommodated his request to stop and just fix the original damage and return the truck*** *** is expecting a new car factory finish when in reality it will never be thatOnce a vehicle is in a collision it will forever be alteredEven the most expensive repair can be seen with the trained eye, not to mention the fact that he ordered a work stop on the extras, some of witch were left half complete*** *** received exactly what he paid for and unwisely requested, if LJwants a custom job they can not stop the work half way and expect it to result in a show stopping vehicleIf there are any question or concerne pleas feel free to contact me at at the shop ***I am willing and ready to cooperate in any fashionThank you for your consideration on this matter

I am rejecting this response because:
 
 
First and foremost everything was that needed to done to my truck was documented by [redacted] on the receipt he gave me. It is not true that I was made to understand that some areas could or would not be able to be repaired. The only reason for the extended time to do the work on my truck was because he was going to do the extra things which he offered to do at that price. Yet those things were not done and he still kept my truck for almost 3 weeks. It is all documented. Whether or not I am their only client that doesn't excuse his poor workmanship on my truck. The only reason I asked him not to do the extra's was because I was upset at how first of all spoke to me with profanity, which is very unprofessional not to mention disrespectful. Secondly in seeing the awful and unacceptable work he was doing I was not willing to give him the opportunity to destroying my truck. I don't want this to become a pissing contest I want results and [redacted] has proven that he can not in good conscience deliver. The damage on my truck was minor and if you look at the vehicle now you would think that someone painted it in their backyard. It is pathetic and unacceptable work. Again it still took him all of 3 weeks to finish what he claims to be the initial work and he returned my truck to me filthy and full of compound all over the truck not to mention the chips of missing paint in two areas and wavy body work that could be seen by a blind person. I called him when I got home and told him that my cover for my trailer hitch package, the antenna, cover for inside door panel, corner clips for my protect on the bottom of front windshield, my license plate 2014 decal were missing and his response to me was that I had money to go buy new parts. I did return to his business the next day and I parked over 50 feet from his business waiting for SAPD. Someone with his business noticed I was sitting there waiting and [redacted] came to me pounding on my door asking if he could help me? I told him I was waiting on someone and he asked what was wrong? I told him of the things missing and he asked me to move on to his shop? I did and he took off leaving some young man to install my trailer hitch cover and antenna. He said was ordering the cover for the door panel and the missing clips for the windshield to this date I have received nothing. Plus I have yet to receive my plate sticker which he kept. On his response to you [redacted] says, "Here at Auto Ouy we pride ourselves on satisfying the customer." If that we true why did he return a product to me that looks like it was worked on by first year students in a High School Auto Body class? He also claims this, "Once a vehicle is in a collision it will forever be altered. Even the most
expensive repair can be seen with the trained eye." I have the name and number of a gentleman who works at a reputable body shop who told me if this type of work had come out of his shop people would have been fired. If need be I can obtain a notarized document from him or I can supply you with his number. He doesn't want [redacted] to know who he is. Not wanting this to become a pissing contest or a war of words. He wants to keep it professional. I want this issue resolved and the only way it will be is when [redacted] returns the money to me for the mess he did.
