Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the vehicle was never serviced, the problem with the motor  was due to neglect. I'm truly disappointed with the car dealer. My mechanic is a relative looking out for my best interest.  I will pursue legal actions.
Regards,
[redacted]

Response:WE HAVE SPOKEN TO CUSTOMER ABOUT THIS SITUATION. [redacted] STATED THAT HER "MECHANIC" CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND THEY WOULD NOT COVER THE REPAIRS. WE HAVE CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND THEY HAVE STATED THAT THE "MECHANIC" NEVER CALLED TO PUT THE CLAIM IN. ALSO AFTER SPEAKING TO MRS....

[redacted] THE TRUCK WAS DRIVEN 683 MILES WHEN THE LIGHT CAME ON. HER "MECHANIC ADVISED HER THAT A VALVE WAS BAD ON ONE SIDE WHICH SHE HAS DECIDED TO DO A COMPLETE REBUILD OF THE MOTOR WHICH IS VERY UNCESSARY. SEEMS LIKE HER "MECHANIC" IS THE ONE RIPPING HER OFF.

This might be slightly long, but read and then never buy from here and tell your friends. I can't get my money back but I can help someone else from wasting theirs. Bought an '06 Cadillac CTS from here for 9k with 74k miles. Took it on a test drive. Saw the carfax. Everything looked good except for the rotors, which I mentioned were causing the car to shake slightly when braking. At first they said they'd fix if the brakes didn't smooth out in a week. The rotors were grooved and I insisted that they be replaced no matter what if I buy the car. They finally agreed. The NEXT morning check engine light comes on. I call them and they say bring it in. The mechanic hooks up his code reader and goes to hit clear without even looking at codes. Thankfully I'm looking over his shoulder and say "wait thats gonna clear them!". He says "oh [redacted], what am I doing?" This is when I knew.......I screwed up buying a car from here. So there are numerous codes...misfire, catalytic converter, loss of communication. It's clear to me now that this dealership clears codes and tries to move the car, hoping the codes don't come back on test drive.
So, they suggest clearing codes and whatever comes back they will fix. I am temporarily relieved that they say they'll fix. Big mistake. They would also fix the rotors at the same time they said. Catalytic converter code comes back and they say they will order and have an exhaust shop do the work. Takes them 2 months to get this catalytic converter, i'm guessing from Cambodia. I call them weekely and they say its hard to find, yet I call Autozone and they can have in a day. A week later the car has trouble cold starting and then About 2 weeks later the car starts stuttering when accelerating and then won't start. Multiple misfire codes (one of the original codes) are present. Car needs 3 coil packs and is low on oil. 3 weeks after purchase and its low on oil? Car also needs a new battery. They say buy coil packs and they will put on when they get the catalytic converter. Lol. The damn car won't run, how can I wait? I pay for repairs and new battery...cost $700.
While waiting for the converter I have them do the rotors. Then finally the converter comes in and they decide they are going to do the converter and not have an exhaust shop do it. This is where the story gets even worse. About 1 month later while driving the car starts intermittently making noise like it has an exhaust leak. It comes and goes. The brakes also start squeeling. I bring it in to have someone look at it. The freaking exhaust is only held together by 2 bolts. There are a total of 6 missing bolts!!! These guys didn't even put the exhaust back together, they either didn't tighten the bolts or used the wrong ones. The brake pads are also completely shot, and the rotors are thinner than acceptable range. This means that they cut the rotors (instead of using new like they were supposed to) and they put old brake pads back onto the car. Of course when I call to tell them how completely unethical this is they deny doing anything wrong and tell me I can bring it to them to look at it. Like I would ever let them touch the car again. I pay for repairs.
2 weeks ago the check engine light is back on and then a few days later the car wont start. Have it towed in. The car needs timing chains and a catalytic converter again. Timing chains alone are almost $3,000 repair. I bite the bullet and trade the car in at a huge loss ad put down 5k on a certified pre-owned. NEVER, EVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS. If I could give negative stars I would. These guys really need to be sued. Btw, [redacted] supposedly owns a dealership right down the street. Avoid that one too.
