Auto-Heinz will not reimburse Mr. [redacted] for the Uber rides, car rental or the repair. had come back on. We had him return the car as soon as he was available. This time there was a new fault code logged related to the gas cap not properly sealing, we charged him only for the part ( no diagnostic fee). When he came this time to pick up the car he mentioned a light was out in the dash, he pointed it out to the technician. I than told him it would just be a few minutes, Mr. [redacted] could not wait and left immediately! Within less than 5 minutes of him leaving the light was fixed at no cost to him, he stated he couldn't turn around and would have to pick it up the following day. He did not show up the following day, but two days after the car was finished. For this reason we do not feel as if we are at fault for the customers unwillingness to wait less than 5 minutes to fix the light which resulted in his Uber rides and rental car. On a side not we also told Mr. [redacted] we did not feel it would be worth it to put this much money into this car, as he asked of our professional opinion. We said this because being so high millage and with age things just break/ go bad. i.e. light bulbs burn out and gaskets lose their ability to seal.
