Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Transportation Company will not know condition of this so-call "good shape, mechanically" carThis does not give the dealership the right to not call back or follwith my complaint via email or phone It's common sense to know that any luxury car requires more attention and maintenance except the issue I am reporting was not just maintenanceIt is a major component of a car that is consider not a "good shape, mechanically car"The issue with the fuel tank and air suspension is a danger to the driver and could cause a much bigger damage if we were on the highwayConcerns like this should have been listed or mentioned in the desc if sold "AS-IS" especially for buyer who is not able to test drive the car and relies so much on the dealership honestly and description of the vehicle Regards, [redacted] **

The customer has applied for credit to purchase a vehicleHer credit app was sent to a few banks for approvalThere is nothing that can be done to remove the inquiries as they were legitimate

I used CarGurus.com to search for a used Range Rover EvoqueAuto Holding had the color combo that I was looking for so I called, discussed the car and agreed on a price and gave them my credit card info for a $depositThe following day Rick my salesman tells me that there is an additional $2,dealer fee to cover their profit and $1,surcharge if I pay cash and don't use their finance companyI refused to pay it, he said he would talk to his manager and let me knowI never heard backSlimy, slimy, slimyWho does business this way in 2016?

To Whom It May Concern, Our dealership sells a wide variety of cars. From $1,000 commuter cars to $100,000 luxury and exotic automobiles. We carefully advertise and describe each and every vehicle to the best of our ability. In the case of the 2... vehicle purchase by [redacted] the automobiles were sold as-is. This was due to the age and mileage of both the 2005 BMW X3 and the 2003 Mercedes-Benz ML500. It serves no advantage to our firm to misrepresent our product. When we were contacted about the long distance purchase of these 2 cars, we made it clear as to the condition of the automobiles. Typically out of state buyers request third party inspections to determine a non-biased opinion of the condition. In this case the buyers did not do an inspection and agreed to purchase the cars sight unseen. To assist, we went over the cars and [redacted] the salesperson did a thorough description of each car. As per New Jersey Lemon Law, any vehicle that is over 7 years of age and/or has 100,000+ miles is not covered and sold as-is, where-is. Last but not least, [redacted] nor any other employee of this firm would never hang up the phone on this or any other customer. We offered to take the cars back without questions, however, to meet us at a fair agreement, the client would have to deliver them back to us.

We attempt to resolve each and every issues that arises to the best of our abilityIn this case, it has been difficult due to the misconstrued facts given by the buyerNo one "pushed" the client to purchase the car or the warrantyWe explain and outline each and every piece of information at time of purchaseThis includes the contract for the warranty that the client reviewed and signedThe buyer made a claim with the warranty company and that company agreed to pay on the terms of the contractThe repairs would have to be done at any authorized facilityThe warranty company has a set hour labor rate that it has the contract based onThe buyer can take the car to ***, however, would be responsible for the "deductible" as well as the gap between his allowed hourly rate per contract and the rate the dealer of his choice chargesThe parts the warranty company issues claims for are aftermarket OEM spec parts that are of high qualityWe attempted to work with the client in offering to bring the car to us for repairs or perhaps come up with another fair resolutionThe client declined, told us he doesn't want anything to do with us or our help and that was itWe are still more than welcome to have the client allow us to help get this car repaired, however, we are limited in what we can do without his interest in our help

Title and reassignment had been delivered to clients place of work on the 29th of August of We did not update the Revdex.com with the result right awayHowever, to confirm, the tracking number is [redacted] [redacted] is the carrier

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yes they said they would offer us a replacement, then they said that they couldn't find oneBut they were certainly happy enough to put us in a more expensive vehicleI don't work with liars and crooksThat is what this dealership did and is What dealership asks if you are still on your way, and is holding the car and then minutes(literally) right after, (minutes before we arrive) calls and said they sold it, to a person who came in, didn't want to test drive it, had a credit score and was like we had to sell it immediately and they drove away and had all the paper work etc done, with in the minutes from when they called to ask if we were still on our way to the minutes before we got thereThe whole thing is fishy, and I am not biting Regards, [redacted]

I asked until Monday to come up with a reosolution for the inconvenienceI was not even give that opportunity, which is understandable considering the situationHowever, we do not do bait and switchThis is a dealership that operates on a first come first serve basis like every other store in NJWe offered severeal vehicle at or BELOW the price listed for the car soldWe offered to purchase an identical car and show our cost without any mark up to make up for the inconvenience I understand the frustration the customer faced, however, whatever we attempted to do to remedy the situation, we got shut down quicklyWe really wanted to work with the buyers to make up for this headache, but it's a two way street and obivously we were not given the chance to redeem ourselvesBest of luck in your future endavors

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am already in a financial bind having a vehicle that is deemed not safe, or road ready, As to add insult to injury, I was just notified that the tires that this establishment placed on my vehicle just last year July, were worn down and in need of new front tires, this is a result of Auto Holdings failing to align the tires when the vehicle was originally sent back to Auto Holdings when the vehicle first failed inspection in I was not prepared to be looking into getting another loan so soon after buying this vehicleI am also not percent sure that getting another vehicle off your lot will not place me in a similar demise My original offer was to be refunded my original down payment which was a total of 3,Understand, I am fully aware that getting the truck in better working condition may take more than what I am asking to be considered safe, and within [redacted] code for road safety Please consider my offer, and understand that if this agreement is met, I will rescind my original dispute and place it in a satisfactory status Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with [redacted] *** from the company who assured me that he would work to have inquiries removedYou say you run my credit once and forward the information to prevent multiple inquiriesI had at least six hard inquiries from multiple banks you sent my information toIt was not just [redacted] I received alerts from [redacted] and [redacted] alsoAlso, I contacted the credit bureaus and the hard inquiries can either be removed or recoded as soft inquiriesYou have to contact the banks you provided my information to and rectify the matter Regards, [redacted] ***

WARRANTY CAN ONLY BE VALID IF I CAN DRIVE THE CAR I called your staff in charge of registrations over timesMy car has an expired plate for a month and a half now and I still don't have an answer for itCheck picture attachedAs of JUNE 4th my car has no platesYou were responsible for providing me new plates for the $I paidStill didn't get any answer after almost months and a half of purchasing the car. Warranty was supposed to be valid at any Lexus dealershipThis is what you told me and it's not trueI also called the warranty company and I was told the warranty is not valid yetI will be more than happy to stop by and bring the car when I can LEGALLY DRIVE ITAs of right now the car is parked and can't drive because your company did not provide me new platesThis is unacceptable. Response:Customer states that warranty is not valid. Its not true. It might not cover some parts of the vehicle like wear and tear, but vehicle has the warranty for 12 months. Response:Since we are the dealer in NJ, not **, we have to use the agency for out of state plates and registration. I'll check exact cost that was paid and if it's less than $250.00, will issue a refund
