Review: I recently tried to trade my current vehicle for another one at the Auto House of Salisbury. I did research online and was contacted by the dealership. The salesman started texting my cell phone and telling me that they could pay off with me having negative equity. When I proceeded to take my vehicle to the dealer I was told that the salesman that I had talked to was not there today but another salesman would assist me. I was then told that I would not be able to have my car paid off like originally told by the [redacted] Salesman. They need to not promise things that they are not going to actually go thru with.Desired Settlement: I think that the Auto House should have to pay off my car and give me the vehicle of my choice after putting me through all this trouble and wasting my time and gas for me to drive to Salisbury for no reason at all since they lied to me.

Ms. [redacted] recently contacted us and was inquiring about
trading in her current vehicle. We informed her of the process of bringing in
her vehicle so that it could be appraised and if necessary, often times a
portion of the negative equity can be carried over and included in the
financing of the next vehicle. This would, however, depend upon her credit and
other factors. Once we appraised her vehicle, we informed her that the finance
company would not be able to finance the entire balance owed on her trade. She
would be required to put additional money down to cover the balance. She was
not happy about this and we certainly understood her frustration.
Unfortunately, we are only the dealer and we have to go by what the lending
institutions are able to do and are limited to their restrictions.
We would be more than happy to send Ms. [redacted] a
$25 gift card to compensate her for the gas money spent in coming in to our
dealership.

Review: Well I went to Auto House of Salisbury and I got a use car well a week or so into it the car started acting up and I took it back and told them about it and they did nothing to help me and I just got the car well I called the bank and ask them what to do they told me if I did not want them to pay for it that they would not so I went back to talk to someone that could help more well he told me to bring the car back and they would give me my $2000 back well thats what I did now I got them calling asking for payment for a car that I dont have that I gave back becouse they dont care about people just salesDesired Settlement: To talk to the owners of auto house and ask them why they dont care about the good people of Salisbury nc and ask them why they still want money from me and they got the car and I dont thank that banks would be to happy to know what they are putting there money up for im a far guy I just want to talk it out one on one with the owners

Mr. [redacted] no longer wanted his vehicle so we allowed him to bring the vehicle back even though we were not obligated to do so. We refunded his down payment in full. We are sorry he was unhappy with his experience.
