Review: The Auto Lender business is atrocious to deal with. We were sent a bill for a rental car and within this first bill was a paper stating that we had 10 days to pay from the date of the letter or legal action would be taken. A threat of legal action was totally unwarranted in the first bill, not to mention that we did not even receive the letter until 2 days past the date of the letter, leaving us with 8 days. The car they rented to us had 110,000 miles on it, had the engine light on, and did not sound to be in good running condition. I can say that as a parent of 2 young children, I would not have put my children in that car. We had no choice but to take it as my husband had to be to work 60 miles away that morning and no one else had any cars available. Next, we were charged 2 full days for the rental car with the rental term being from 5/23/14 at 10:31 a.m. To 5/24/14 at 11:01 a.m. We were charged a full day for a half an hour. I found it odd that it was exactly a half an hour past 24 hours. When I called to inquire about this and see if we could prorate it or work something out, I was told that I would be going to the district magistrate for legal action. The woman was rude right from the start of the call and actually told me to write to the Revdex.com as they loved responding to these letters. This tells me that this is not the first problem with their business. Had this woman been polite and customer service oriented rather than totally rude, I would not be nearly as upset. I will not be using Auto Lender again as I feel they are a deceptive, rude company that likes to threaten legal action right away in order to intimidate customers.Desired Settlement: All I want is a genuine apology for the rudeness and threat of legal action.
