 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The vehicle had a "Buyers Guide" in the window that said "Limited Warranty" [for 6 months] also stated in the original ad for the vehicle on the Auto Market website (attached), then after purchasing the vehicle George G[redacted] gave me another "Buyers Guide" that said "as-is" and told me he was having me sign that because [redacted] would cover all costs to repair anything that goes wrong with the car because it was still under the manufacturers warranty. This would imply that the vehicle had never been in an accident because repairs as a result of an accident would 100% not be covered by [redacted] and further void the manufacturer’s warranty [as confirm by a call to their Customer Care line]. We knew that this vehicle was used and expected normal wear and tear. We also expected that there would have possibly been some minor touch up paint work and bumper repair, but Auto Market NEVER disclosed that this vehicle had been in an full accident/collision with 1) front impact, 2) hit a fixed object, 3) vehicle ran off road, 4) severe damage and 5) multiple airbag deploys, this was further confirmed by the [redacted] sent to me by George G[redacted] of Auto Market, on the date of sale, April 30, 2016 (attached). I learned of the vehicle being in an accident when 1) I took it [redacted] and had a full diagnostics done because of the check engine light that would not go off (attached) and 2) I ran my own [redacted] on May 18, 2016 (attached). I never would have purchase this vehicle had I known it had been in an accident at all, plain and simple. Auto Market intentionally withheld this information from me. Again, the vehicle is a 2014 [redacted] Edition with 23,130 miles on it. In the state of Maryland, "a used car dealer in Maryland may only sell a car "as is" if it is more than six years old and has more than 60,000 miles. See [redacted]. Additionally, the only document that could change or modify the implied warranty would be the completion of a Notice of Exclusive or Modification of Implied Warranty (Form #[redacted]). The “Buyer Guide” that George G[redacted] gave me to sign after he told me [redacted] would cover anything that is wrong with the vehicle, is no substitute for Form #[redacted]. I never signed a Form #[redacted]. This is 100% a clear case of misrepresentation and fraud. We are seeking for Auto Market Laurel to purchase the vehicle back at full cost and process/provide any and all paperwork that would allow the auto loan to be cancelled or terminated or otherwise considered satisfied. Additionally, we are requesting a total of $300 ($109 cost of diagnostic fee for [redacted] service on May 13, 2016) + $109 (cost of diagnostic fee for [redacted] service on May 16, 2016) + $82 (cost of replacement car mats, because the vehicle did not come with a full set), plus punitive damages.Regards,
[redacted]

Review: I looked at a jeep that was priced at $4995 and advertised as inspected and was told that it would be $5345 inspected. In [redacted] all dealers are required to sell vehicles state inspected.Desired Settlement: For them to be straight forward and follow state LAW.

Review: Minivan has a DVD player that does not work. I was not informed before I purchased minivan that it was not working. I spoke with seller before purchasing the vehicle several times over the phone in informed him that that was the one of the main reason for me wanting the vehicle because of the DVD entertainment system in it and not once did he inform me that it was not working. I did not find out that it was working until after the fact . He advertised it with the vehicle . He told me to bring it back to get it looked at but they did nothing. He told me that I had to bring it back when his electrician get in but I've been getting the run around. And now he tells me it's nothing they can do.Desired Settlement: Would like for DVD to be repaired or some type of adjustment to purchase price of vehicle

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Because the dealer was deceitful in selling this vehicle. First we had the issue with the dvd player which the dealer agreed to repair but hasnt and refused to do so now. The vehicle was advertisted with the dvd player included in the sales of this vehicle and the dealer and I spoke several times which I informed him that that was one of the reason that I was buying this vehicle. At no time did the dealer say that the dvd player was not working, he assured me that the dvd player was in great condition, NO issues and everything was great with this vehicle. Second, The vehicle has a major oil leak and I beleive the dealer was aware of this problem. The vehicle was inspected at 80,340 miles and was sold to me at 80,350. A ten mile difference. There was no driving of this vehicle and there is no way that this major oil leak happened within only 10 miles. When the car was inspected there is no way that they (the inspecting station) did not see this leak and informed the dealer. I believed that the dealer was informed of this leak. When I took this car in for a oil change after only 8/9 days after buying this vehicle it was very noticale to my repair guy that this vehicle had this big oil leak and they informed me that it had to be seen when the vehicle was inspected. I do believe that the dealer was aware and did not inform me and he was very deceitful when he sold me this vehicle. He should have made me aware of ALL problems with this vehicle and giving me the opportunity to know and weigh everything before hand and what I was dealing with and he did not give me that opportunity. I was not giving the full facts on this vehicle. I believe that he should be held responibile for my repairs or refund me my full money back.when you sell a vehicle you as the seller should inform the buyer of all issues/problems and this seller did no such thing.. he at one point told me that he would take the vehicle back but would charge me a $3,00 fee to take it back. At that time I had only had the vehicle about 9 days, he had no reason to charge me to take it back. I feel that the Implied warrantie should come to play because I was not aware of these problems with this vehicle.

Regards,

Review: I purchased a 2006 G35X Infinitil with the listed business Feb. 2013. [redacted] advised the price of the vehicle and assured me the vehicle had been inspected properly and there were no issues. [redacted] advised the price of the vehicle was so cheap due to the fact that they would pay the taxes, and the taxes would not be included in my loan. Therefore making the price cheaper and I would not have to pay interest on the taxes. I was approved for the loan and [redacted] advised I would need to pay 696 by April 5, 2013 to him due to my credit, and if I did not I would lose the car. I had signed the loan agreement and [redacted] advised this was a part of [redacted]'s policy. He said the 696 would also cover a car payment and taxes on the vehicle. I advised [redacted] on my loan agreement that I was already paying taxes, because it was included in the loan. He advised he would contact [redacted] and make the proper adjustments. Not to mention after driving the car for 1 day the back rear wheel began to smoke. I called [redacted] immediately and he assured me it was only brake grease. I then drove the vehicle to [redacted] after consulting a [redacted] Mechanic who stated it was a possible caliper issue. I advised [redacted] and he said no. [redacted] said the vehicle was inspected and the part was fine. [redacted] then changed the back brakes and rotors. I called [redacted] multiple times to discuss the capiler issue because it was still not fixed. A caliper is a major repair which I did not want to pay for in less than 3 days of a vehicle purchase. I then questioned [redacted] about the money for the taxes and my credit and he basically told me the checked was cashed the car was fixed and to not contact him because everything was done. The caliper is still not fixed and is seized. I requested the inspection records and he advised he would mail them. I have called the location multiple times and I was advised my calls would be returned. Finally [redacted] advised corporate would conduct an investigation and would contact me. Long story short. Like a fool I have waited way too long for a response and a refund for false information and the adjustments were never made. Also a caliper that was broken at the time of purchase and false repair. Please give me a call to better explain, provide phone records or documents.Desired Settlement: I would like the Caliper replaced, a refund of the 696 or the proper adjustments to the loan agreement. Or if possible to have never have the vehicle with these dishonest people. They have not been honest with me and have mislead me and lied. The vehicle caliper is a major repair and is not safe to drive on but unfortunately my only means of transportation. I hope they have not swindled others.
