Review: [redacted] took two vehicles to Auto Masters Inc. in Ellensburg. Both were supposedly fixed and returned. After being returned, the trucks were still having the same issues. I called and spoke with [redacted] regarding their concerns. Rather than being understanding and expressing a desire to fix the problems he yelled at me and accused the owners of [redacted] of neglecting their vehicles. I tried to explain that they felt the charges, over $10,000.00, were unfair when the trucks were returned and the problems were not fixed. [redacted] then yelled at me for holding him to a number of $2000.00 per truck that he gave as a verbal estimate to [redacted], the owner of [redacted]. I told him that I was not trying to hold him to that number but that I was surprised by the increase and needed a better explanation of why the bill was so much more than he thought it would be and why we still had two trucks that we could not use. He yelled at me again, told me I didn't know anything and I explained that I would talk to the owners and find out if they were willing to bring the trucks back in to have him try again. They agreed to pay the $10,000.00 to AMI and let him look at one of the trucks again. He looked at the truck and told them it needed a new radiator. They decided not to have him do anymore work on their vehicles. Months later, in September, I received another bill for almost $4000.00. At this point, I have no intention of calling [redacted] again to be yelled at. I am writing him a letter that the company has no intention of paying the latest charges and giving him the opportunity to explain why he feels he is owed even more money when the trucks were returned with the same problems they went in with and we have already paid more than twice what he estimated it would cost for the repairs.Desired Settlement: I am asking that he void his bill to [redacted] in the amount of $3631.78

I have absolutely no idea why this person thought they were being yelled at. If pointing out details is considered yelling, then maybe. All of this aside, we did look at one of the vehicle's, which did have a plugged radiator issue (which had nothing to do with what we were repairing). I gave them an estimate to fix it and they declined. The vehicle that the current past due bill is for is the other vehicle they are referring to, which they have never called and let us know there was a problem nor brought it back in. Interestingly enough, after all of this the owner ([redacted]) brought his vehicle in and had it worked on. So, I'm not sure how the owner stated they did not want to bring a vehicle in to us when HE already was. I actually spoke with the owner ([redacted]) last night. He had no details on any of this. He also had no idea that there was a case being made with the [redacted]. He agreed that this was not the proper way of handling this situation. He told me that he would discuss this matter with his staff and set up a time for us to meet and discuss this matter in full.

After speaking with the owner from [redacted], It is my understanding that the information [redacted] provided is incorrect. [redacted] has agreed to speak with [redacted] in order to resolve the issue.

I will continue at this time to speak with the [redacted] (the owner of the company) who knew nothing of this complaint that was sent by office personnel. This seems like the most intelligent way of handling this situation.
