Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
First of all I can agree with some of the statements, the transmissions was burnt that was the reason for taking it  to Harvey to be rebuilt. The statement he made about coming out to my residence was a true stamentment  he stated that the truck was not running properly he also stated that he had trailered my truck which is not a true statement he towed it with a tow strap. He knew the truck was not running. That is the whole reason for the complaint and the truck is still not running! I have photos and parts to show that the work he did was not up to standerds that a certified Transmission repair person would have done. After Harvey took the truck apart if he felt that the job was not what he could accomplish he should have just let me know that. If profanity was used it was used by both of us beacuse of the work not being done right. I am ASC certified mechanic but because of my health and age I could not do the job myself.Harvey obvisously is not ATRA  Certified!

05-15-17 Customer came into our shop for a rebuilt of transmission. A quote was give of $1000 for transmission rebuilt, take out and put back in. Plus, customer has to buy his own parts, customer agreed. Customer truck was brought to the shop that day. The parts were order for the truck through...

Transtar $708.74. Transaction was done with Money Order. When transmission was taken apart I notified the customer that the part in transmission that the parts were burnt. Transmissions was finished and put back into the truck. I delivered the truck to customer myself. I drove it on the interstate. It shifted nicely like it supposed to. Customer drove me back to the shop. He shifted roughly and not properly. The customer throttle on the gas before shifting. I returned the truck to the customer on a Friday evening. The customer called me on Monday morning around 10am. He was very upset and using profanity language to pick up his truck. At 1030 am Myself and my staff went out to his residence to look at the truck. I tried to talk to customer calmly. He talked to me rudely and using profanity language. I did try to drive the truck and it would not shift. We load the truck on to a trailer. Told the customer we will look at it. The customer told me that his son and daughter-in-law are working on suing me in Albuquerque. The next day came the customer came by the shop demanding his money back. I let him know that I will not return his money. Again, he threatened to sue me. The customer was in my face 4 or 5 inches between us. Again I told him that we are looking to see what was wrong with it. After taking out and apart the transmission and putting back in. I didn't find anything wrong with the transmission. I went to see to Gallup Transmission to talk to Rick. Seeking the council if I miss anything. I did everything right, just was checking if I missed anything. I took truck to [redacted] motor for the TCM (Transmission Control Module) to be reset. When [redacted] ran the test they told us that the TCM does not match the VIN. So they were unable to do the reset. The customer became very angry with us. We gave him a quote from the dealer what it will cost for them to fix it. They did not to the labor yet. I try to explain that to him but he just got very upset with me. The truck was returned the customer. For the next week the customer harassed and threaten our shop and its employees daily. He stated that he son is going to sue us. He would follow me around the shop and even get in my face. The customer has been asked politely to the property several times. At the end of all this the customer mention that another mechanic has worked on this truck before. The customer also refused to sign his last receipt because it shows customer has wrong tires size for that truck, VIN does not match PCM.
