We are always sorry when we don't live up to a customers expectationThe horn part was ordered under the repair Order # rather than the customers name thus causing the confusion about the part arrival when the customer called The recall has been completed,however the manufacture doesn't have a provision for compensation for loss of time

I have received the copy of the work sheet Mr [redacted] has sent to you and that is exactly what it is a work sheet which recaps what the customer has offered---You can see there is no signature by anyone from our company and can see that Mr [redacted] rejected what we believed was his offerWe are in the business of selling vehicle and I feel we do this quite wellWe do not refuse offers to purchase which are realistic

The mailer clearly states the promotion was for December 18,&20thIt stated you must present your invitation during business hours on one of the three days for decoding and to determine what prize you did winCustomer visited the dealership on December

The pricing of all accessories and any additional markup is posted to the vehicle and was displayed on the dealership lot----** *** purchasing paperwork clearly listed the accessories and markup
In regards to the interest--the additional charge was a charge the lender charged for extending the term of the loan to months, which was something ** *** wanted to do as it lowered her monthly payment ; the entire amount is retained by the lender
Im sorry ** ***a found her experience unpleasant, but I really don't know how it could have been improvedWe sold her the vehicle she select, completed her paperwork and had back on her way in 1hour and minutes---When she arrived back at the dealership to pickup her vehicle we had arranged a finance package for the financing of the vehicle at a rate well below market
I am sorry for the inconvenience for having to pickup her License plates,but it has been our experience that the mail seem to loose a great many of those that do need to be mailed and the process of getting new plates is usually worst than having to pick them up
Im also I wont be able to mail ** *** the requested monies as it was not part of the original deal and if she had made that request at the time of the sale we wouldn't have been able to sell her the vehicle

Mr *** did have have his oil changed at the dealership at the time stated and he did return the following Monday with the damage he has describedThe difference is when the oil is changed we remove a shield nearly in the middle of the vehicle and it was still intactThe damage to Mr
*** vehicle was to the front bumper and air dams under the front of the vehicle-There were also large gouges in the air dam where those parts had came in contact with somethingWe put the vehicle on a lift and showed Mr *** the damage, explained to him how the damage was not related to the oil change and asked if he would like an estimate on the repairhis answer was yes and we did that. There is no possible way we did anything to the vehicle to cause this type or any damage to his vehicle

Mr [redacted] and family did visit the dealership on July 1 and left without completing a purchase transaction---Im sure there were many figures discussed , but the selling price I have recorded is $26785.00 plus $798.00 in dealer adds for an selling price of $27583.00. Any interest rates discussed...

would be with APPROVED CREDIT.  The lender offering the rate the customer requested was not approved. When Mr [redacted] left the dealership he took a copy of the Buyer Order and was going to his lender to have the vehicle financed. We have not heard back from him till we received your letter.Since the purchase price was established as one that we would sell the vehicle ,which Mr [redacted] now says is incorrect and Im unable to find a lender that will finance the vehicle at his requested rate there is nothing that I can do for Mr [redacted]

[redacted] did purchase the vehicle in question on a Saturday afternoon and took delivery of the vehicle the same day. When the vehicle was delivered it was performing properly . He  returned Monday afternoon, after driving 113 miles and stated the check engine light was on. The vehicle...

was inspected and the catalytic convertor was missing. When the convertor is missing or not working properly it will trigger the warning light within seconds We verified his warning system was working properly. The customer wouldn't have left the dealership with a check engine on for a vehicle he just purchasedCatalytic Convertor on diesel trucks have one of the highest thief rates of all crimes which involve motor vehicles in all of Harris county
In regards to his insurance I don't understand what he means--We,like all dealerships, require the customer has insurance before they take delivery of the vehicle--The customers spoke with his insurance company and they send the proof of insurance to the dealership
[redacted] needs to file with his insurance company to recover the expense of the catalytic convertor
