I was contacted by Omar, my store manager shortly after this gentleman had come to the shop Our store managers are expected to follow company policy but to inform me of the events if they are to occur to allow us time to research avenues for working around our policy We were able to get our parts supplier to cover the warranty past the part coverage timeframe in which the customer had surpassed That allowed us to be able to get a replacement part covered and we have been in contact with the customer to move forward with his warranty repair He is scheduled for replacement on 8/2/and will not have to pay for the replacement This decision was made previous to our knowledge of his Revdex.com complaint Hopefully, this resolves his concern

Hi, we reached out to Mr. [redacted] directly and worked everything out.  We refunded his money for the state inspection and printed off a driving cycle for him to complete so he can still get his inspection.  I spoke with him directly and he appeared satisfied with the resolution.

get our parts supplier to cover the warranty past the normal part coverage timeframe in which the customer had surpassed.  That allowed us to be able to get a replacement part covered and we have been in contact with the customer to move forward with his warranty repair.  He is scheduled for replacement on 8/2/15 and will not have to pay for the replacement.  This decision was made previous to our knowledge of his Revdex.com complaint.  Hopefully, this resolves his concern.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Although by reviewing the attached document (original invoice from previous car owner) the warranty repair falls within the 24 months/24,000 mile warranty period stated. This complaint would not have been submitted unless [redacted] (manager) had not refused to honor the warranty. It was only after this complaint was submitted that Auto One responded with a solution. The professionalism demonstrated in this matter and the correct resolution provided by this repair shop is greatly appreciated.
