On June 26, 2016 Auto Parts Avenue received an order for a 94-97 Dodge Ram Power Tow mirror set from the amazon customer. The order was fulfilled and shipped the next day. The customer, after receiving the mirrors, contacted Auto Parts Avenue claiming the wrong mirrors were sent. He indicated his...

vehicle required 6 pins on the connectors and the ones he received had three. The customer also stated that the website indicated the mirrors would fit his vehicle. A customer representative who is very knowledgeable of the product informed the customer he had ordered the wrong tow mirrors. As it is stated in the amazon listing, the mirrors the customer purchased were power adjustable only (3 pins). Because the customer indicated he needed six pins in his first message he sent to Auto Parts Avenue, the representative was able to determine his vehicle required the power with heating function mirrors (6 pins). The "auto checker" in the amazon website only checks for year and model of the vehicle. It does not go in detail as to whether the vehicle will have power without heat or power with heat mirrors. Further details of the product are found in the "Product Details" section of the amazon listing. After the problem was found by they company's representative, the customer was informed and given specific detail as to why the mirror plugs were not the same as his. However, the customer did not want to understand the reason of the mirror plug issue. The customer kept insisting that the wrong mirrors were sent. Auto Parts Avenue, after many attempts to help the customer understand the problem, suggested the customer to request a return. Because Auto Parts Avenue was able to determine the customer had ordered the mirror with the wrong specifications for his vehicle, the return required the buyer to pay return shipping and a 15% restocking fee. At the moment the customer was given the return authorization, a copy of the return policy is provided, which clearly states the return terms and conditions. A few days later, Auto Parts Avenue received the returned mirrors and credited the customer. The refund had the 15% restocking fee deducted, as our return policy stated. Auto Parts Avenue hopes the provided information is enough for the Revdex.com to determine honest business practices were, and are being performed by Auto Parts Avenue. The return policy was followed accurately with this return order. If any more information is to be required, feel free to contact us at [redacted] and we will gladly answer any questions.
Sincerely yours,
